"Rare Card for 707 DS8 FM Synth ROM PSU-101 ROM Card Factory Programs
This is a Korg ROM card, for use with the "CARD" bank, on the Korg FM synthesizer, the 707. It is in very good condition, and works for the FM keyboard that's the little brother to the DS-8, the 707 Performance Synthesizer. These are the original Factory set of sounds loaded into the 707 from Korg. These are probably long since lost for many people, since this is a late 80's synthesizer, so with this they are easily found again!
The card can be accessed right from your front panel, with no need to load them into memory, thereby allowing you to keep whichever sounds you like in the internal RAM memory, AND this excellent ROM card in the card slot. You can also split and layer them with the internal sounds, make new conbimations, etc. The card will come with it's original sound list as well."
MeeBlip micro debuts at Toronto Workshop
via Create Digital Music:"In Toronto this Friday, we’ll be connecting with InterAccess Gallery in a celebration of DIY, adventurous music making, and blipping synthesizers. It’ll also be the first public debut of the new MeeBlip micro, a pocket-sized version of our MeeBlip open source hardware synth. Part of why I’m excited to be hacking away with the fine folks of Toronto is that we’ll be able to document that new design and what you might make with it for everybody else. The MeeBlip micro and revised MeeBlip se will be coming very soon to everyone.
What’s the MeeBlip micro? It’s the brains of the monophonic, MIDI-capable, hackable virtual analog MeeBlip synth, without the knobs and switches. It does still have MIDI and USB, so you can program it by connecting to a computer, and transmit MIDI over standard cables. It also has analog and digital pinouts so you can use it to try out novel sensors or build it into a sound art installation or wearable Kilt of Synthesis. We’ll be making the first-ever micros in the workshop and starting to play with them..."

Note the custom Crumar Spirit. You might remember it from this post. Also note what looks like a custom chopped Sequential Circuits Pro-One to the left of the Octave Cat. Note the middle is the full panel minus knobs, but the top appears to to only be the top section. Not sure what's on the bottom.
Under Sea
"A live modular recording. Three CGS01 Harmonic Sequencer modules from Catgirl Synth were used to generate melodies automatically. This generative piece reminded me of the virtually unlimited species of creatures under the sea.
