BeatBack: A Bio-Sensing Instrument
YouTube Uploaded by conorowenbarry on Dec 16, 2011
"The BeatBack is a new electronic instrument designed by Conor Barry that uses biosensors to generate and affect sounds to create musical performances that place equal emphasis on the human body's outputs rather than focusing on the voice.
The BeatBack is a device that can accompany any musical instrument by taking heart rate and galvanic skin response data, and translating them into varying sonic textures, which the performer can alter through changing their emotional and/or physical state.

Ableton Live, Max4Live, Processing, Arduino.
Many thanks to Adam Scott for his help and performances with the BeatBack

Little Midi Machine v2 sequencing Minimoog Voyager
YouTube Uploaded by jerrydibella on Dec 16, 2011
This was my first attempt to control external synthesizer with my iPhone trhough the Core Midi (wireless Midi), so today when I download (and it was for FREE!!!) this analog style sequencer application for the iphone/ipad, I was very happy, and wish to show some people how amazing things you can do with iPhone through the Core Midi!
Gear Used:
1) iphone with Little Midi Machine v2 (you can download it for free from the itunes store!)
2) Minimoog Voyager
3) MacBook with Network Midi connected with my iPhone
4) DAW software, in this case I use Logic Studio, and I use to control my Minimoog through midi channel number 2...
Some People could say why I have to control my minimoog with the iPhone, the answer is "Who Cares?! Little Midi Machine is for Free!"
