"Following on from the previous video where we had a tour around the micromac- I felt the sound quality could have been better- compression x 2 caused various anomalies on the audio demonstration. Here is the Audio demo again- but with a far higher quality sound- (though still a small amount of distortion!!.)
The video itself looks like some outcast from a 1960's television studio!"

This is a live Electronic music Mix, with The Drum Machine (Fingerlab)on Ipad2 by DJ Galactic. I think it is a very nice groovebox for Ipad user, and you should give it a try. Really I have this vintage rare vintage feeling on this kind of app.

On the synth sound: "I took one of the syn-percussion available and tweaked it. All sounds are coming from Dm1... Go to mixer, then select the Pot of the pitch ( or lengh) and select the volume button (first icone second line of the top menu on the the right) like that you can play around with lengh and pitch."

"Modcan Touch Sequencer, driving a Paia dual oscillator. The second oscillator send two waveforms(Ramp, Square) to the Paia dual filter, each one using a 12db lowpass out, for the bass sound. First oscillator go through the BBD and vca to the monotron, to use it`s filter for the melodic voice. Noisering out A and B goes through A-151 as the A-143-9 and then to the Touch Sequencer vc-in to be quantized for the melodic voice too. Paia midi2cv8 in din sync mode sending midi clock to the sequencer."

"Estradin-230 is a predecessor of another well-known soviet analog synthesizer Altair-231. Both synths has identical electronic architecture and the same rich sound palette. The Estradin-230 was manufactured from early to middle eighties and then Estradin factory changed synth`s design and start produce from middle eghties Altair-231 synthesizer. But actually it`s the same machine in the new body. [note this 230 has an angled front panel]
Estradin 230 and Altair-231 most identical copies of the famous Minimoog synthesizer that was made in the Soviet Union.
Both Estradin synths have fat and rich vintage analog sound with it`s own character and can be compared to Minimoog model D synthesizer.
This auction Estradin-230 synth was produced in 1984. The serial number of the unit - 2957."
