"The Acidlab Bombass is a MIDI controlled is a monophonic, analog synthesizer based on the circuits of the world famous 303, but with a lot of modulation and sound extensions.

The schematics of the VCF, VCA and the envelops are similar to the TB-303, with a lot of new features. With MIDI, the pitch, length, slide and accent are controlled. It is also possible to control the Bombass with the inputs CV In, Gate In and Accent In, from the sequencer to the Bassline. The Bombass works then as the synthesizer section of the Bassline, with much more sound variations, than known from TB-303 modifications.

Everything, from abstract filter-sweeps to percussion-sounds is possible. In comparison to the Bassline or the TB-303, the resonance range is extended, that the filter can be played without the VCO.

"Been a while since I posted something. Has a lot to do with finding my new setup involving all kinds of techniques getting the best combination of creative handson arranging using Ableton. Anyhow, I wanted to do just a little jam hardware only and this is what I came up with. From scratch about half an hour work. There is a lot of EFX involved in this one. Do not turn it up to quickly, the start is almost silent!"
