"This is a demo of the iOS app Noisemusick. Since I haven't seen any videos of it here and the developer hasn't released one yet I figured I would give the market a little demo of what this app can do. Recorded via iSight through Photo Booth hence the shitty quality, but I hope at least the sound can do the app justice.

With Noisemusick you can:

* Choose a sound to match your mood: blue, green, or pink!
* Practice and probe to find interesting interactions of sound!
* Discover weird oscillations!
* Use it as a raw input to other filters and effects!
* Run on an iphone or iPad; it's a Universal app!

To start making sounds with the Noisemusick app, your body has to complete the circuit between the touch pads. Pressing the pads in different combinations will generate different frequencies and modulations. By lifting a finger or sliding the hold switch you can create rhythmic patterns of noise. Move your fingers to change the resistance between your finger and the pads, which changes the frequency and beating of the tone. On each board the knobs change the quality of the tone in different ways.

This is a Universal app from the Fluxama collective in Providence RI."

"The ET-4 continues where the ET-3 Electro-Theremin left off. The instrument has been updated with new features and the playing interface has been completely redesigned to be more accurate and expressive. Inspired by the Ondes Martenot's au ruban controller, pitch is controlled by moving a finger along a reference keyboard. With dual analog oscillators, the amplitude of each is controlled by an independent pressure sensitive key.

Each oscillator has six different waveforms, including the classic sine wave of the Electro-Theremin and the Ondes Martenot's octiviant and white noise settings. A low-pass filter with variable cutoff frequency is used to shape the sound, which can be controlled with an external expression pedal. A spring reverb unit is built into the ET-4 with a separate output control to allow for 100% "wet" output. A wide range of sounds can be created with the ET-4; from haunting ethereal sounds and deep bass grooves to sci-fi soundscapes and classical voicings.

Plugs directly into a guitar or keyboard amplifier and is compatible with most effects and stompboxes. Every ET-4 is hand crafted in Canada."
