Phuture - Acid Trax (highsage remake live performance 2012)

"Recorded straight off a Mackie 1202 with a Machinedrum and a 303. First time in a few years. Will be the encore track in my live hardware set this summer. This time kicked it up to 128 from 120 bpm, and spent a few hours having to (once AGAIN!) re-craft the original pattern on the 3's. I think this time around it came out even closer to the original. Bump it loud! RESPECT goes out to Pierre on this one, MUCH LOVE BRUTHA!"

Moog on Remembering Clara Rockmore: the Greatest Theremin Virtuosa

"Born in 1911, Clara Rockmore is widely regarded as the greatest Theremin player to have ever lived. A child prodigy, Clara began her musical career as a violinist studying with Leopold Auer, but gave up the instrument in her teens due to an arthritic condition in her bow arm. By this point she had immigrated to the US and befriended Leon Theremin, who had recently developed an instrument that bore his name, the Theremin..."

Three Drum Machines and One cup (and an Amstrad Synth) july 2012

YouTube Published on Jul 17, 2012 by squidfanny

"More fun with Bolt-Bays & DIY Sequencers. This time I get to road test a newly built HR-16 Glitch Machine. . .

So what's going on here then?

Well, firstly the HR-16 Drum Machine has tentacles extended from it's bolt-bay straight into the Amstrad's bolt-bay...... Depending on hows it's patched, all manner of weird , unique and noisy sounds can be generated.
I'm using a computer to drive one of the little yellow drum synths, courtesy of an 'Engineers@work MIDI-TRIGGER converter', using a very basic drum pattern and using mute switches to cut / drop.
The MIDI-TRIGGER is also proving CLICK & RESET tracks to drive DIY sequencer in the synth, and also to Reset the DIY Sequencer in the other yellow drum machine.

The HR-16 Drum Machine also contains it's own little DIY sequencer, which is providing a tempo synced CLICK track to Drive the sequencer in the other yellow drum synth.

Finally, note the REVERSE button on the HR-16 Drum Machine....."
