New Stand Alone Delptronics LDB-1 Analog Drum Machine
YouTube Published on Jul 25, 2012 by Delptronics
"The Delptronics LDB-1 "Little Drummer Boy" is a modern recreation of the classic analog drum machines of the 80's, like the Roland TR-606 and TR-808. Our goal was to recreate the warm sounds of the classics, using all analog circuitry -- not samples. The brain of the LDB-1 is a powerful digital microcontroller that triggers the analog drum sounds and provides the sequencer, programmability and connectivity features. Eight instruments: Bass, Low tom, high tom, snare drum, woodblock, hand clap, closed hi-hat, and open hi-hat. Easily interfaces with other instruments, synthesizers, DAWs, etc. through analog connections, MIDI, and DINsync. The LDB-1 has all of the features of a classic analog drum machine in a small, affordable package.
Purchase and read more about it at http://www.delptronics.com/ldb1.php"

Another Ralph Dyck Synth Recovered

"Encouraged by the recovery of his Carson Graham synth, Ralph went in search of another synth he made around the same time for the UBC. Bob Pritchard of the UBC Music Dept. confirmed that the synth was still sitting offline in his office, and after a quick consultation with the school’s administration, it was decided to gift the synth back to its original creator! Ralph has been working on the synth for a few months now. Here’s a bit of Q&A about it, along with some pics and sound examples."
You'll find them on Pea Hicks' Roland MC-8 Micro-Composer blog here. Ralph Dyck is considered the godfather of the Roland MC-8. See the Ralph Dyck label below for previous posts.

Track featuring the Electro-Harmonix Ravish Sitar pedal with synth & keyboards only.
via Ashen Actuaries of Asgard: "On the structured 'melody' sections of the tune I'm playing a Minimoog Voyager through the Ravish Sitar. On the improv parts and outro, I'm playing a Hohner D6 through the Ravish Sitar. Interesting results.
You can also hear Mellotron Mk. VI, ARP2600, Fender Rhodes, Hammond XK3c and Nord Electro 3 on this one."

Korg PS 3100 Polyphonic Synthesizer

"Korg PS 3100 semimodular fully polyphonic synthesizer for sale. Some cosmetic wear, but not more than you would expect on an instrument of it's age. Technically everything is working expect that one of the 12 oscillators (C#) is sending out noise instead of a tone. Probably easy to fix for a tech, and I'm sure that every country has one. Here in Norway there's at least 2-3 good tech's, and judging from the size of my country, every other country should have more of them. The instrument is sold as is. I can ship worldwide, and buyer pays for shipping. The fee will differ from country to country, and allthough I've stated $500, that's just an indication since it's impossible to cover every alternative. Note that the instrument is 230 volt, so you probably will need a converter if you are to use it on 110 volt"
