Brittani Washington Explains Her Album: Space For Music
YouTube Published on Sep 18, 2012 by DanKrisher
"On her break from touring with Beyonce, Brittani Washington stops by the Roland office to explain her new album "Space For Music". A turn from the latest trends in POP music, Brittani explains that "Space For Music" is an organic and nostalgic experience to the days when musicians were heros. Brittani limits the use of technology in her album and relies on musician ability. Watch the video for the full interview and also a demo of her musical chops.

DIY Electronic Drum Pad Unit Prototype
YouTube Published on Sep 19, 2012 by Geigertek
"A few seconds of vid testing out a DIY drum pad unit my son and I built. And yes, you can hear the sticks hitting the pads - it was done in a hurry!!!"
https://www.youtube.com/user/Geigertek/videos
via Neil Fellowes on The MATRIXSYNTH Lounge:
"This'll make you smile - I wanted a basic electronic drum kit, but alas couldn't afford one (I take sympathy well), so I made one. Out of an old wardrobe, 8 table mats and gaffer tape. It works - eat yer heart out Roland. Usual piezo transducer triggers which are fed into an Alesis DM5 drum module - oh and I couldn't resist the cheesy Simmons sounds ;-) And before anyone says anything, I know you can hear the sticks on the pads (mats) - I did the video in a hurry."
