"I got basic fretting (loose fretting... it won't completely prevent quartertones, etc if you play them exactly), and legato rules. I am back to the ChucK engine while I get better acquainted with SuperCollider coding. This is just a Windows 8 based OSC controller. It works running into ChucK or SuperCollider"

This is only modulating the voice, and not messing with the arp and sequencer tricks that are behind the scenes to make it happen... this is not a multi-tracked demo of one voice...this is literally one voice, played once through straight to tape with no edits or 3rd party fx. All delays and verb are from the A4. Just a single 16 step pattern and a pair of oscillators...running through two serial filters."

"Sequino is my latest project with Sebastian Guy, a flexible MIDI controller and sequencer based on Arduino Mega. 16 encoders provide the control alongside an easy LCD menu screen. The arduino's USB port is brought to the front panel so the user can quickly build or edit their own sequencer. This has been great start into hardware DIY and we are currently trying to gauge interest in releasing a free, how-to guide with schematics for anyone wanting to make on themselves. "I Dream Of Wires is an upcoming documentary about the resurgence of modular synthesizers. In June 2012, the I Dream of Wires team visited the Norfolk UK studio of pioneering industrial and synthpop musicians Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti, founding members of seminal outfits Throbbing Gristle, Industrial Records, and Chris & Cosey, to name but a few. We interviewed Chris Carter about his long history with DIY electronics, modular synthesizers, and the role they've played in his storied musical career. Busy putting the finishing touches on X-TG's recently released "Desertshore / The Final Report," an album initially intended to be Throbbing Gristle's final recording, Carter expressed his enthusiasm for the current crop of eurorack modular synthesizer modules, and how he integrates them with modern tabletop FX units, to create a present-day, cutting-edge revision of his early Throbbing Gristle set up. The music currently playing in the background was the patch coming out of Carter's eurorack modular at the time of filming, an exclusive segment from the X-TG recording sessions."
