Synsonics Pro Dual Kit vintage analog synth drums

"Two channel brain with sensitivity, decay, bend, pitch, noise (white) balance and level controls. Four of the knobs for channel 2 have lost their blue plastic tops. Power switch is finicky; though it always moves, the unit tends to be stuck in the "on" position. This requires you to remove the power adapter cord from the brain in order to power down. ****The problems with the power switch have NEVER resulted in the brain being without power.**** Aside from the above issue, this brain works perfectly. If you're wondering what this thing sounds like, check out the beginning of LCD Soundsystem's song "Get Innocuous!".
Also included is a Roland PD-7 Dual Trigger 7.5" drum pad."

"Klang Werk:
Klang Werk is a high quality balanced (or “ring”) modulator with a number of built in features making it more versatile than the usual synth module. It’s more like an effect box, although it is right at home in any modular system. Klang Werk includes a voltage controlled sine to complex waveform carrier generator, a signal preamp, a signal envelope follower, and an output mix control.
Time Machine:
A balanced modulator takes two signals (“signal” and “carrier”) and multiplies them together, producing their sum and difference frequencies. The original signals are removed from the output. The result is often used to produce bell like clang tones. The world of the equally tempered scale seems to vanish, to be replaced by an alien sonic landscape filled with moments of unearthly beauty and savage cacophony.

"The CAT by OCTAVE Electronic Synthesizer MODEL 1853 - My Electronics Tech has just serviced this unit and it is in 100% complete working order and the following was done [ Cleaned Keyboard Control and Contacts - Cleaned VCA Control - Cleaned VCO1 Switch and repaired a broken Pin on - 15V Regulator ]. Physical condition is very good as shown. I noticed one of the little rubber feet on the bottom of the unit is missing and on 3 of the knobs the chrome centers gone. I took several photos in hopes of showing it's true physical condition. The CAT is monophonic/Duophonic Analog Synthesizer 2 oscillators capable of square and sawtooth Waveforms. VCO 1 also has a triangle waveform. Each of the waveforms can be played simoltaneously and mixed together and there are additional sub-octave oscillators to each oscillator to blend new and interesting sounds. An outstanding unit to say the least."

"Last patch of 2012 on my modular system. First video I've shot with the new phone... audio level is a little low but oh well!
I had been neglecting my system for the past month as I've been (slowly) working on revising my oscillators ( http://electro-music.com/forum/phpbb-files/052820121570_504.jpg ). I started tinkering with the self-oscillation on a lowpass filter and ended up with this patch.
The primary sound generation is from the self-oscillating vactrol filter being fed into a wave folder and then back into itself. The folded output is mixed with the original output of the filter via a cross fader to allow for a sort of wet/dry mix (which really just changes the nature of the feedback into the filter's audio input). The audio is then fed through a vca and then a highpass filter. There is modulation across the board (folder, filters, vca) via lfo's and a sequencer. Timing and direction of the sequencer is derived from a complex little network of binary counters and an analog switch module.
In the video I just start with the end patch and just turn different portions of it on and off to show whats happening (which may or may be very clear in the video anyways...). Lots of great buchla-esque percussion! =)
