"Music Ipad app Novation Launchkey is a hands on synthesizer with 60 preset sounds that can be controlled in real time. Control Amp and Modulation envelopes from the 8 hardware faders and start, stop and latch controls for the arpeggiator. Change the sound easily with the interactive display. CoreMIDI Network input. On the whole the sounds are great though the graphical interface isn't as great as it could be. Groups of assigned parameters could be made easier to manipulate and the ability to create user groups or delete groups. Nice start to a potential great app. Get it free from the itunes store. Not compatible with Iphone or Ipod Touch."

"Here's a first look at the first of several Medic Modules coming from Analogue Solutions. Featured here is the Defibrillator, a dual VCF / VCA eurorack module.

On show is a square wave from a VCO being defibrillated! Also featured is some basic modulation using an EG. More videos to follow in the coming weeks.

Rumor has it these put on quite a show at night (and under UV light).

"Manual is a transistor portable polyphonic electromusic instrument produced by Katchkanar radio equipment factory "Formanta", which is the manufacturer of such well-known makes of synthesizers as Polivoks, Formanta, Manual, Maestro etc. Faemi-M is a "young brother" of a very popular synthesizer Polivoks. It bears the same logo on the package and retains some of its most impressive capabilities.

Manual is the polyphonic organ with the 4 octave's keyboard, rhythm section and the speaker. It has 4 base and sound registers, tremolo mode and vibrato.

Control on the front panel:
— registers: 16', 8', 4', 2'
— timbre level: low, high
— post sounding - duration, volume.
— vibrato - depth, frequency
— main volume
— rhythm, ON, A, B
— tremolo: 4', 2', frequency
— rhythm, volume, tempo.

'vibrato' and 'mild', 'rough' positions. The jacks on the right side are IN and OUT, and the left side features external power supply input."

"This is the Metasonix S-2000 tube-synthesizer being controlled by a MakeNoise Rene modular sequencer. It's pretty much just a simple bass note sequence, where the S-2000's ribbon is gating the Rene's Y-clock input as well (the X-clock is being gated by a cycling Maths module's EOR pulse output), so that I can control when the "verse" or "part" changes. You can hear me tweaking various controls on the S-2000 to add harmonics and modulation that add some harmony and rhythm to the sequence.
