Published on Apr 20, 2013 DJjondent·198 videos

A creature crying out for help in the depths of outer space?

Just playing around with one of Warren's Serge panels.
Test Video #7 ... pre restoration.

The only modules used were :
Wilson Analog Delay
Resonant Equalizer
2 Dual Transient Generators
and one Precison VCO.

The Res Eq is a awesome filter.

The Dual Transient Generators
are doing all the triggering. I really love these envelope generators.

This panel has held up well inspite of it's age. A credit to its builder.

Syncing Roland Juno 60 & SH-101 to TR-707 with Moog CP-251

Published on Apr 19, 2013 zibbybone·113 videos

"A fellow VSE'r was asking how to synchronize both his Juno 60 & SH-101 to his TR-707 since it only has one trigger output. I suggested that a multiplier would be the best way to split the trigger pulse. Here's a quick video showing the result of this configuration. I haven't used my SH-101 in quite a while and it took a while for it warm up and never did tune properly. I program the SH-101's sequence in Cm, but acutally playing in Dm and starts drifing out of tune towards the end - ah, the quirks of analog synthesizers. During the "song", I add an occasional snare hit which is processed by a Boss RE-20's reverb. I also improv some "melody" on a Roland Gaia which is actually playing my PPG Wave 2.2 via MIDI which is processed through an Eventide Space's "Shimmer" program. The Juno & 101 run straight into the Mackie 1202 while the 707 is running through the Strymon TimeLine's dTape analog tape echo emulator."

Audulus 2.0 Released for Mac and IPad

Audulus 2.0 from Taylor Holliday on Vimeo.
New features in Audulus 2.0. Many thanks to the Audulus beta testers for their thorough testing of this release!

"Audulus 2.0 Released for Mac and IPad:
Math. Timing. Speed.

Audulus 2.0 introduces the Math Expression Node which allows you to enter math expressions, opening up another level of sonic possibilities.

Maybe you'd like to simulate the overtones of a piano? Or build a 3-operator FM synth? Or snap pitches into a chromatic scale? Maybe you'd like to create your own oscillator waveform? Or, possibly a custom wave-shaper? With the new Audulus Math Expression Node, all these and more are now within your reach.

Audulus 2.0 also introduces the Timing Mode, a feature which shows how much CPU time each node is taking. This gives you the information you need to squeeze every bit of performance out of your iPad or Mac.

Both the Math Expression Node and Timing Mode can be unlocked in the new Audulus store.

Lastly, in Audulus 2.0, the Audulus audio engine has been further optimized so your patches will run faster than ever.
