"See pics for the cosmetic details (very nice), the white balance is obviously off in one of the pair of L & R sides pics, which was done without a flash, corrected in the last pair. Another gem from the collection that has seen very minimal home studio use. It is the same as one of the drum channels of the DRM1 mk1 and mk2 drum modules, same controls and same sounds. It is very similar to the new Kick Lancet drum synth currently available, which has a few extra controls. A very simple and nice way to add some analog drum sounds to your arsenal. Trigger button on the front to help shape your sound, and can be triggered in your setup over MIDI."

"Touched By Sound (HDB Audio/Vermona) ACM2 Clap Cussion Analog Synthesizer with power supply... See pics for the cosmetic details (very nice), the white balance is obviously off in one of the pair of L & R sides pics, which was done without a flash, corrected in the last pair. Another gem from the collection that has seen very minimal home studio use. Essentially the same as the clap channel of the Vermona DRM drum modules. A great one space unit to get your old school clap sounds a la TR-808 & 909 varieties, plus a lot more other clap like & other tones. Trigger button on the front to help shape your sound, and can be triggered in your setup over MIDI..."

Intro to Samplr

Published on Aug 8, 2013 RyanHemeon·90 videos

"In this video I do a quick walkthrough and demo of Samplr. After 3 different people today were wondering about it and if i had done any videos I decided to do this one. I ended up making more noise then anything in this video but let it be known that you can make some beautiful sounds with it too. All in all this video should give you a good idea of all the different functions of Samplr. I didn't get a chance to show you any of the recording features in this video but they are really cool as well. I hope you find this helpful!

And sorry about my crackly voice. Not feeling the best today. ;-)

Buchla Ships Model 257e Multi-Function Control Voltage Processor

"August 8, 2013, Grants Pass, Oregon: Buchla Electronic Musical Instruments (BEMI), the legendary innovator and manufacturer of expressive instruments designed for electronic music performance, today announced the availability of the highly- anticipated 257e Control Voltage Processor. The new module, which combines enhanced elements of the venerable 256e with six channels of voltage-controlled slewing, affords users an array of powerful control functions suitable for use in a wide range of musical and sound-sculpting applications.

256e users will be familiar with the upper section
of the module, which includes dual sets of high-resolution voltage inputs and outputs along with intuitive controls for performing mathematical operations on the voltages as they pass from the input to the output stages. Voltage levels are represented graphically by a grid, with the input and output levels independently settable, along with programmable break points that allow the user to precisely define the voltage level at any given point in the input-to-output signal path.

The lower portion of the module features three channels of dual-input voltage-controllable slew processors. The applications for slew-rate processing are myriad, from real-time dynamic adjustments of envelope segments to programmable vibrato/tremolo onset-delay to portamento. The inclusion of pulse outputs on each channel allows events, such as sequencer start/stop/advance, to be triggered as the skew voltages reach their maximum positive and negative values.

The 257e has a Iist price of $1,450. It is available from select Buchla dealers in the U.S. and Canada, via BEMI distributors in Europe, Japan, and Australia, or directly from Buchla Electronic Musical Instruments (contact sales@buchla.com).

For more information on Buchla products, please visit BEMI at www.buchla.com.

"Most chiptune artists today use 'software synths' to try to recreate the unique sound we grew to love, but even the best emulation can't capture all the tones and nuances of a real NES. Now, using the Chip Maestro, you can use your NES to compose your music, right on the console! Chip Maestro allows you to play your NES using any MIDI keyboard, or by hooking up your favorite DAW through a USB-MIDI converter. By controlling the 2 Pulse waves, Triangle wave, and Noise channel, you can compose 8 bit symphonies that sound exactly like the originals!"
