Robots at Lewes Fireworks 2012

Published on Nov 6, 2013 lazenbleep·38 videos

"I have NO IDEA what happened. We went to Lewes fireworks 2012. We made robot costumes. It took AGES to get there so we drank all our booze on the train. We freaked EVERYONE out. We got lost. Some people were angry. It was really weird. We had an excellent party on the train home. We are not men, WE ARE ROBOTS

telePort Double iPad Test

Published on Nov 6, 2013 dubbilan·30 videos

"100% real-time audio - No samples. telePort is used to do live sequencing.
In this video nothing is really being done, it only shows the feedback of what was already looped, moments before filming it.
The melodic and harmonic (bass line) parts were played and looped with the piano. Directly on the Step Sequencer Page of the iPad a straight rhythm is altered and the changes looped to create a longer improvised beat structure.
Also on the iPad the Sub-Division and the Duration of the static Bass pulse is altered and looped to create the variation.
Some Filter sweeps, volume changes and effect sends are also looped using the iPads.

Finally - without performing the action somewhere hear able - it is shown how you can use multiple fingers to "drag-copy" patterns (with Pitch, Velocity and Duration) using the iPad...

The end loop is by no means static, rather a combination of four independent MIDI Control loops that can be stopped or altered, re-triggered or whatever. The instruments changed one by one, you name it :)

I just had an extra iPad over the weekend to finish multi-iPad support and figured it deserved a small video, rushed as it might be! ;)

This is using the upcoming prototype version 0.9.2 with its (also upcoming) bi-directional iPad Controller App. The release will definitely bring better quality videos!

telePort – Modular and Live Augmented Sequencing.

telePort is many things. It is, a teleporter…

It’s a hardware-integrating program for setting up patches and control parameters and letting you morph between them – adding VSTi support in the same streamlined Patch-changer. Add then a built-in mixer supporting VST effects, where all settings also are morphable letting you merge everything together in a huge (improvised) live set.

It brings this morphable modular approach with it as it enters sequencing, where the modules can change between being sequenced, semi-sequences and completely live, changing between states as you like.

The goal being creating a very flexible music system where you can have a whole set, not just a song, at your fingertips and improvise or play structured parts based on rules you define freely."

The new DT200 replaces the PG200 for Roland JX3P

Published on Nov 6, 2013 karelpostthuis·58 videos

"I bought it, at last i can replace the worn out PG200!

As the old one still represents a good deal of dollars, the smartest move i could think of is to sell the old and buy the new, for practically the same money! :-)

PLUS, the DT200 is sturdy, yet lighweight and has the same handy magnetic strips on the back!

It comes with a new cable, impossible to find nowadays, and it really works like a dream, as the switches are of the highest quality available nowadays! These are NOT encoders that wear out, these are genuine POTS! Built to last!

This is NO CHINA MADE thing!

It's hand built, and the engineering is quite bluntly said -impressive-.

Plus this one will not start to rust!

I can recommend these to anyone using a MKS or JX3P."

ITALO DISCO Remade - "Distant Planet" Instrumental Extented Rework

Published on Jun 28, 2012 BiscoMixWorks·6 videos

"Based on a 1984 classic made by "The Voyagers", I recorded every single Instrument by my own and tried to stick, soundwise, as close to the original as possible. There are some notable differences though, and therefore I consider this a personal creation of mine. It is not the intent of "stealing" from the original producers, it is meant as a musical tribute to them. This track also contains absolutely no sample from the original recording."

Dave Smith Instruments Prophet '08, UVI Emulation II, Moog Voyager, KORG Polysix, Roland JX-8P, and Clavia Nord Wave.

Yet Another Italian Classic Reworked ('coming closer' to perfection? ;-)

"I confess, I am a lazy person. I upload stuff sporadically. Even worse, this is just a 'Work in Progress', a teaser of some sort. Anyway, enjoy it, and leave a comment if you wish! Thanks for your support and kind words everyone!"

The Roland JX-8P - A Simple Sequence

Published on Jun 26, 2012 BiscoMixWorks·6 videos

"I've programmed a simple sequence and played around with my Roland JX-8P. The results are quite random sometimes, but beautiful nonetheless. Added some external Chorus, Reverb and basic Mastering. Still, it's still pure Roland 80's sweetness! Especially the Cross-Mod on DCO2 is superb on Level 1. It's difficult to understand why Roland saw this one as a competitor to DX7. Both of them excel on very, very different aspects."
