"Hello! In this tip video, I show how to use Sunvox song files and MetaModules to make your own custom modules. The MetaModule is a really useful and powerful module, since it allows you to both play back Sunvox songs from within Sunvox, as well as save entire module chains, along with their settings.

The workflow for making a custom module is a bit complex, but it's not too bad. It just basically boils down to making your chain in Sunvox, saving the song, loading it into a Metamodule, setting the parameters, and then saving it as a Sunsynth file. Then, when you load the file, you'll load your synth / effect along with its the settings.

Haxxor OMNICHORD OM-84 Synthesizer (Febuary 2014)

Loads of mods including a Patchable Filter & Individual Outputs, LFO, Patchable Analog Drums, Glitch & Metal Touch-Points...

This Omnichord has been a big old restoration project, and was initially suffering from various faults. I've repaired everything except for a physical fault with the strum-plate - unfortunately I had to disable the top 4 notes, as they were constantly triggering themselves due to a faulty strum-plate. The notes can still be accessed with the Touch-Points, so it's not a major loss.

I've also replaced all of the old caps, cleaned the button contacts and pots, re-soldered the connections between the two PCB's & added a separate volume knob for the 'Bass' tone.

This video showcases 21 of the first 128 patches out of 384, some of which are XR-exclusive. Threw in some popular melodies as well, among which a melody gamers might recognize from Age of Empires II, which made heavy use of the Emu ESI4000."
