"This was supposed to be much a longer jam session, but after a little under 5 minutes the video sound got corrupted, then once the video was rendered each time the video fx change there is a glitch on the sound, finally when trying to upload, that went wrong.

"Lotsa layers. Starts with a loop on the Phonogene of an STO. The "Shape" is modulated by Tides. The Tides "Shape" is modulated by Maths. The Phonegene "Organize" is also being modulated by Tides.

The next voice is pretty much the same thing as above, but being sequenced by Pressure Points. The variable wave out is fed into the Phonogene and mixed with the loop, which is fed into the Echophon, then into the Optomix.

The 3rd voice is the DPO Final wave sequenced by Rene. It's "Shape" & "Angle" are modulated by Function. The DPO output is fed into Ripples, then into the Optomix. The Optomix combined out is sent into the Music Thing Spring and out to the mixer.

The final voice is a Dave Smith Mopho X8 (well, an X4 and a tetra) played in realtime."

"For Inpulse One users, I have put together a page with history and details. I originally did this in 2002, but at the time did not have sample tapes or info, it's taken... a while.

You can download samples of the sounds, sounds to load into the Inpulse One (tapes 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the 11-tape catalogued library - in a 1986 interview Bill Nelson suggested that Allen & Heath would produce custom samples for you, so original Inpulse One users may have sounds that aren't documented on forgotten tapes somewhere).

As a bonus, there are also Inpulse One drumkits to load into the excellent Teenage Engineering OP-1 synthesizer/sequencer."
