"Nash the Slash in concert in July 2008" via Wikipedia

"Sad to hear that Nash the Slash passed on today, I really admired that guy, truly a groundbreaking, underrated Canadian electronic music artist.
I was privileged to see him perform live in Toronto in the early 80’s, he was in a circular mesh like cage in the middle of a disco, lit from below, he was playing:
Violin
His signature skull shaped Mandoblaster
A few tape machines
Numerous effects
A fuzz box
Korg MonoPoly
Roland CR78
And singing
Blew my mind, I’ll never forget the show, it was like something from a Si-Fi film.
[CBC News Obit]"
Update via Lee: "Here is a very good bit from the Toronto Global & Mail I just came across. He sued Pepsi- Cola for 'misappropriation of identity' after he's friends from a Canadian band called 'Rough Trade' called him and told him they just came from a Pepsi - Cola ad shoot and 'there was some guy there dressed up just like you.' He won the case, but didn't get any money!
There is also a outstanding brief interview of Nash talking about opening up for Elvis Costello at the legendary El Mocombo bar in Toronto and tells a funny story of getting kicked out of this own gig, at the end he says 'and that's Rock & Roll'"
The following are a few videos to give you a taste of Nash the Slash's work including an interview with Gary Numan. Be sure to check each out as the style of each is different. Nash the Slash had an eclectic range of electronic music.

"Purchased new, original owner. Analogue Solutions Red Square semi modular, patchable synthesizer. This is the newest Version 3 model. 2 VCOs, VCF, Midi to CV, LFO, 1/4 inch jacks. I used this very rarely. It has been in a smoke and pet free studio. It works great. Includes power cord and manual. Does not include patch cables.
This is a big, heavy item and so shipping overseas will be expensive. Be sure to figure shipping cost before you bid. Plan on 14 pounds (6.5kg) and a box 24 x 16 x 16 inches (61 x 41 x 41 cm)
More information and a downloadable version 3 manual from here"

Studio Electronics SE-1 Synthesizer SN 2667

"The SE-1 is an analog, monophonic synth-module designed to re-create that classic Moog sound perfect for Hip Hop, R&B and Dance music. The classic Moog sound comes from its distinctive 24 dB lowpass voltage controlled analog filter. There is also a 12 dB low-/band-pass filter which emulates the classic sounds of Oberheim synthesizers.
The SE-1 uses three discrete voltage controlled analog oscillators for genuine analog synth sounds. And that's three VCO's, just like the Minimoog. They offer the basic waveforms you would expect from any analog: triangle, sawtooth, reverse sawtooth, square, noise, and random. There are also 4 multi-stage ADSR envelope generators used to shape your sound, the filter and more. Also available are Ring Modulation and Glide/Auto-Glide effects.
With 24 knobs, 21 tactile switches, MIDI control over parameters and plenty of program storage memory (396 presets and 396 user patches), the SE-1 is a professional alternative to its classic forefathers. It is used by Fatboy Slim, Frontline Assembly, Dr. Dre, and Astral Projection.
I love the sound of this unit. The Moog Ladder Filter sounds just like a Mini-Moog. The 12db/Oct "SEM" like filter is great when you need more high end content in the sound. It's got everything the Mini-Moog has and more - Ring Modulator, Sample & Hold, Velocity, 4 envelopes, more modulation options, two filters, etc.
Note: this unit is in perfect working condition with one exception. Occasionally, the display will go "random". This does not affect the sound. It does not affect the function. It does affect the interaction with the menu navigation, because the information in the display is non-nonsensical."

4ms Noise Swash Eurorack Module

"The Eurorack Noise Swash is a chaotic random noise-maker and CV generator, generating its own sounds or working as an audio processor. As a stand-alone device it generates unpredictable continuously morphing oscillations on the Audio Output jack, and random CV fluctuations out the dual-direction "Mood CV" jack. A second CV input jack controls the Swash and Noisegate sections with positive and negative CV voltage. An audio input jack allows for distorting an audio signal beyond recognition, or using audio to trigger and modulate the chaos. The Swash knob is a 10-turn Bournes pot for adjusting minor variations. Each Swash has its own peculiarly unique sound."

For the complete song (this video cuts down the last 2 minutes, sorry) follow this link: https://soundcloud.com/william-kalfel...
This is a complete project I created using SONAR X2 and several instances of Wusik 4000 plus some drum loops. The first set of drum sounds are from Wusik 4000.
A total of 14 x Wusik 4000 Instances, 6 x Audio Tracks (for Drum Loops and Vocals) all running on a simple 1.8Ghz Celeron Dual Core. Project CPU usage peaks at 60%. But I had to freeze 3 tracks that had very complex presets on (multi-layers).
