"the mhh is a powerful dual hihat drum generator. there is an open hihat and a closed hihat circuit which share a noise source, but function independently. there is an internal electro hihat noise generator (inspired by the tr-808), however, you can plug in virtually any sound source to the ext (external) input and synthesize percussive sounds from it. there are a great amount of sounds possible by experimenting with different signal sources! features: analogue hihat circuitry capable of synthesizing vintage and otherwise sounding open and closed hihat sounds external audio input lets you synthesise hihats from virtually any sound source (jupiter storm, vcnoiz, etc.) lo-fidelity original vcas upgraded to ota-based modern vcas vca drive control for each hihat allows you to dial in anything from soft metallic hihats to extremely overdriven, crunchy hihats exclusive switch lets you select how the two hihats (open/closed) interact with eachother when triggered at the same time cutoff frequency control for internal resonant bandpass filter resonant filter can be switched on/off modular level mutual accent input (0-5v cv) trigger input accepts almost anything as a trigger signal non-invasive analogue optocouplers used for voltage control, thus, completely vintage sounds can still be had if that's what you're after! completely redesigned, hi-fi signal chain spares no expense by replacing cheap transistor amplifiers with low noise opamp and ota equivalents you can dial in super hot, modular level output levels (up to 20vp-p!) width: 13hp | depth: 30mm current draw: +75ma, -45ma @ 12"

"A rare collectable piece of equipment from the now defunkt POWERTRAN CYBERNETICS. These synths were originally sold as kits complete right down to the last nut and bolt. Designed by the legendary TIM ORR of EMS fame. A fully analogue synth designed on a single circuitboard. Gone now is the keyboard and original case, this one has been re boxed in a wood case. Now incorporates midi control that now allows connection to a computer sequencer or whatever midi device you like. Midi incorporates a push button learn facility for channel recognition. Midi control can be programmed via a PC and suitable cable allowing key span and adjustments. There are controls at the rear that allow precise tuning of octave width and pitch offset. Software links and some information will be provided on CDROM regarding these setup procedures. Now has a full compliment of moog style knobs however, the shafts that hold the knobs have been sanded to get these knobs to fit making the control turn slightly wobbly. All knobs work though with no noise, all have been cleaned. Incorporates an LFO rate indicator on the front panel. The original key switches used in the T2K become unreliable and can be a complete nightmare to set them all up correctly. With midi control this problem is eliminated. This unit plays exactly as a T2K should. A great sounding filter with a warm quality close to moog ladder designs. Incorporates band pass and low pass responce. Only genuine high quality components used when repaired and converted. Pictures show rear of the unit, midi in and thru sockets will be labelled before despatch."

"For sale is a Roland TR-808 drum machine. A lovely example of THE most iconic drum machine ever. Entirely gone through and calibrated by a professional tech last week. This is an entirely unmodified machine. New caps, regulator and transistors in the power supply, new start stop and tap buttons, all pots and jacks meticulously cleaned, fully calibrated and tested on a scope... This 808 sounds incredible and is ready for many years of use."

"The Paraphonic is a very well made vintage sounding machine consisting of 3 sections, strings, synthesiser and bass which can be played independently or simultaneously. The keyboard can be split in the middle. The string and synth sections have upper and lower key function and the bass lower key only. The keyboard is 49 note (4 octaves) which is expandable to 7 octaves. All three sections can have vibrato or 3 levels of ensemble added. It is fitted with an external audio input (mono) to allow another synth through the Ensemble chorus function. The performance control section provides volume, tune, glide and pitch bender controls."

KX77FREE - Nostalgie des 90's - SF2 and external Fx

Published on Oct 5, 2014 KX77FREE

"I just bought a K7 player and I listened my old k7 made in the 90's and perhaps I will publish some of my old tapes but finally I plugged my old external fx, very low cost, like my Alex (Lexicon) and my Quadraverd (Alesis) to the second output of my SB to use them in this track.
I used the Polymod like a sophisticate SF2 player for the Bass and acoustic drum.

I just use the built-in Fx with the drum (delays) and also for the background Fx.
I made a cable with mini stereo jack to 6 jacks, 2 for each reverb and 2 to link the mixing console Fx send (old rack 1U Roland for keyboard).
Even if I have a little noise (-72 dB) the result is good."
