"Extremely rare, and no longer available - if you ever dreamed of a hardware polyphonic OSCar this is probably the closest anyone in this world will ever get (of course you'll need the ImpOSCar 2 software running to use it). Beautifully made, single-owner, home studio housed, and always protected with a dust cover when not in use. It needs a 9V DC, not included. In definitely near-mint condition, and the build quality is stunning - check those knobs for a start!! http://www.gforcesoftware.com... and http://www.synthtopia.com... Packing 8GBP - with such build quality this is seriously heavy at nearly 15kg !"

Rare Jellinghaus DX Programmer, MkII, & f/case

"Highly sought after programmer for the DX7, the only way of having control of the DX7 with nice widely-spaced knobs in a dedicated format. It makes a difficult-to-program synth far more accessible and opens up new realms of FM sound. This is the Mk II version, which will talk to the TX-816 etc as well (though we haven't checked that out). There were reportedly other useful improvements made to the Mk II. The main problem with these rare beasts is that because they are very long, and the base is not the most solid thing in the world, they can be flexed and suffer from unreliability from bad connections. This machine has a smart solid near-mint flightcase to avoid that possibility - and we would recommend actually using it on the top of the flightcase unless you have a large flat table to put it on."

Todd Barton Butoh for Easels
via Todd Barton
"I'm proud to announce the premiere performance of my new piece, Butoh for Easels. On Friday, Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. at the Schneider Museum of Art on the campus of Southern Oregon University I will be joined by three amazing synthesists: Bruce Bayard, Eden Mononym and Adam Scramstad to perform this piece for 4 Buchla Music Easels (analog synthesizers) in quadraphonic sound space. This is part of our ongoing series: Quadraphonic: Space and Metaphor Not since the 1970’s group, The Electric Weasel Ensemble spearheaded by Don Buchla and Allen Strange, have this many Music Easels been seen and heard in a single performance space. This new composition was created for the reverberant acoustic of the Schneider Museum coupled with a quadraphonic surround-sound system. This will be a unique sonic experience! I know many of you on this list are from out of town and won't be able to be here, but I hope to have good video and audio of the performance available. If you are in town I encourage you to make it -- there is nothing like quadraphonic sound LIVE! Also, there will be exciting solo performances by Eden, Bruce and Adam!
all best wishes,
Todd"

"Excellent condition. This unit has been in storage for decades, it is in great cosmetic and working condition.
Production began in late 1980. And I believe the the serial number indicates that this was the 15th unit produced.
This small single oscillator synthesizer was built by Chris Hugget's company Electronic Dream Plant and is essentially a scaled down version of the infamous 'wasp'. Just like its bigger brother, it is battery operable and features a plastic housing with built-in speaker 1/4" output and capacitative keypad and can be modified for MIDI compatibility.
No one should be fooled by the gnat's tiny sounding name, physical size or feature list. It packs a very impressive sound, the filter sounds great and envelopes, lfo and noise give some remarkable possibilities. most impressive when hearing it for the first time is probably the incredible fatness of that pwm-wave, it just blasts off. generally, the gnat is suited very well to produce fat and deep bass sounds, it goes down low indeed, also the filter helps generate nice sequencer lines or monophonic blips."
