Below are the final performances for the "Quadraphonic: Space as Metaphor" concert series featuring Bruce Bayard, Todd Barton & Jason Loeffler all on the Buchla Music Easel. You'll find videos along with SoundCloud embeds for each performance. The concert was part of a series at the Schneider Museum of Art that began back on August 1st.  You'll find some previous posts mentioning the series here on MATRIXSYNTH.

"An experimental project to try to show patching up the modular synthesizer. The first portion is removing the cables from another project. Then I video recorded about 2/3rd's of the actual patching. The patch session took about three hours. The video ran for 2 hours. The last part is the recording of the patch in real time.

De-patch video captured in iLapse. Re-patch video captured in TimeLapse. Edited in Final Cut Pro. Audio recorded in Cubase."

"The synth is in outstanding physical and 100% functional condition. All features have been fully tested and confirmed to be in working order.

All pots, sliders and switches work smoothly. All keys are clean and aligned and contact correctly.

The cosmetic condition is outstanding. The front panel is very clean with only minor blemishes; all original printing is bright and solid. The side panels are still in superb clean original condition. The rear panel has small blemishes only."

"Refurbished Yamaha CS-50 went through tuning and electronic diagnostic. Everything is functional, all Voices work as they should. There are some signs of wear and tear but over all it looks good for age, being the synth is over 30 years old. See all pictures provided. This synth produces nice sounding instruments, even the presets sound wonderful. Very analog, warm and distinct sounding. Small brother of the CS-80 a classic synthesizer. The shipping is a bit expensive because of the size and weight.

Comes with original legs and cover case (see all pictures)"
