"For sale is a vintage Synton Syrinx tabletop version. One of the final Syrinx ever made, Serial number 1 out of 6 total in existence. Incredibly rare! Built into case with midi installed, makes it especially useful to use in modern studio. This is an amazing monophonic analog synth with legendary Syrinx sound. It's fully functional & in excellent cosmetic shape. Operates at 220v but I can include a transform to use in 110v countries if needed. Check out the pictures below. If you've been looking for one of these, here is your once in lifetime chance you can't pass up!"

"Brought into the world in 1978 by the now defunkt POWERTRAN CYBERNETICS COMPANY. Published as a DIY synth in the electronics today magazines from the same era. The guts of a 2000 have now been mounted in a new wooden case. Keybed has now gone. Midi has now been added that allows connection to other midi enabled devices. The 2000 uses a non conventional control voltage making it difficult to add normal midi2cv converters. This module employs special circuits that allow accurate tuning of span and width of the connected keyboard. These controls can be seen in the pictures showing the rear of the module. 2 seperate switches on the top of the synth to defeat external vc and gate control. A 'learn' button and midi activity l.e.d are mounted at the front, so too is an l.f.o rate indicator. New control knobs fitted, all controls serviced and 100% responsive. Some control knobs are a little wobbly when rotated.

Nice true analogue ocillators with a great band pass/low pass filter!. This is a bespoke item, one of a kind!."

This one made me to a double take. It is not a synth, but is indeed from the synth company Radikal Technologies, as you can see here. I thought it was worth capturing for the archives.  It's always interesting to see what other products interest boutique synth manufacturers.

The TB2 is a 4 voice paraphonic wavetable synth shield for the Arduino Due development board. The TB2 features 2 oscillators per voice, an ADSR envelope, LFO, digital filter, arpeggiator, as well as a 16-step sequencer. For sound generation, the TB2 makes use of the pair of 12-bit DACs built into the Arduino Due’s 32 bit ARM processor. The TB2 uses an SD card for storing patches and sequences, and it also allows the user to load single cycle waveshapes for the two oscillators and the LFO.

Please Note – unlike our other kits which are self contained, the TB2 requires the additional purchase of an Arduino Due."
