"I didn't even take time to make the panel look good, as I was such in a hurry to test the module!

Not overclocked yet, but I'll try out as soon as I am ready to load new waveforms for further testing."

DSI Pro 2 Parameter Sequencing

Published on Jan 11, 2015 Chris Stack

"On the Dave Smith Instruments Pro 2, I disabled track 1 note sequencing and am just sequencing patch parameters, primarily filter cutoff, while long slow LFOs bring in additional filter resonance and crank up the feedback amount."

papernoise concertodrone mk3 (circuit-bent casio SK-)1 demo

Published on Jan 11, 2015 Hannes Pasqualini

"demo video of my circuit-bent SK-1.

INFO

0:30 mutlimode VCF, the concertodrone features a LP/HP synthacon-style filter with basic voltage control. The filter is pretty overdriven and has a nice nasty resonance

1:00 555-timer-based LFO. I've added a simple oscillator based around a 555-timer-IC. This one can be used as a modulator with the VCF or patched into any other jack for some unpredictable effects

2:00 lo-fi echo effect. I've added a PT2399-based echo/delay effect. I don't use it very often, because it's a bit too lo-fi and I should have extended the control over the parameters a bit more. Also I didn't include a proper dry/wet control

2:45 the paching! this is the interesting part. most of the patch points are taken from reed ghazalas famous guide. I've added a bunch of new ones and including a proper pitch control (using an LTC1799 from circuitbenders.co.uk)."

Update via papernoise in the comments:

"Improvising with the loopper and my new Concertodrone Mk3 (circuit bent Casio SK-1).
All sounds are coming from the Casio, no FX have been added (except for a subtle bit of reverb)."
