Game of Thrones Theme on a Modular Synthesizer (@obrienmedia)
Published on Mar 31, 2015 Patrick OBrien
"The Game Of Thrones theme played on a modular synthesizer, with the melody played on my DSI Mopho analog synth below the modular.
No computers were used in this song, other than the pressing the space bar to play the Game of Thrones Season 5 trailer in the background.
This theme showcases the Kilpatrick Audio K4815 Pattern Generator, The Harvestman's Malgorithm for the bit crushing effect, and MakeNoise's Rene for the bass sequencing. I used Mutable Instruments' Yarns as a clock source.

Dick Hyman | Modular Improvisation
Published on Mar 31, 2015 Moog Music Inc
"In this video, Dick Hyman acknowledges his acoustic beginnings as well as his electronic explorations while improvising on the piano and the newly re-issued Moog Modular System 55.
American pianist and composer Dick Hyman is best known for his proficiency on the piano and his versatility in various jazz styles, but Hyman is also responsible for creating some of the earliest popular Moog recordings. The 1969 album Moog: The Electric Eclectics of Dick Hyman, found the accomplished jazz musician exploring new sonic territories with a brand-new instrument, the Moog synthesizer.

via the seller/listing: "Amazing, Extremely Rare and SUPER CLEAN! EMS Synthi A analog synthesizer as used by Pink Floyd, The Who, Gong, Curved Air, Brian Eno, Roxy Music, Jean Michel Jarre and many others. I've owned it for over 15 years and used it rarely in my home studio. It works great and is in excellent condition. The left built in speaker is not working, the right built in is fine. Has a small hairline crack on the front left corner of the briefcase housing. Comes with power cord, Synthi Educational Handbook of over 100 pages including diagrams, experiments (which I have tested thoroughly on it), operational instructions and much more. I'll also include the stand as well. Please be encouraged to zoom in on the photos to see what remarkable shape she's in."

Alesis A6 Andromeda
Live groove box jam, Tascam DP24, Korg Volca Keys, Cyclone TT-303 Bass Bot, Roland TR-8, MicroBrute
Published on Mar 31, 2015 Tony Horgan
"Mixed and recorded live on a Tascam DP24 Portastudio. In this video I'm using the DP24 in a basic way, recording everything in one take, using its onboard compressors, EQ and delay effects. The DP24 can also mutitrack and do a lot more than this but I'm still figuring it out! All sequences are programmed and played directly on the hardware sequencers of the gear you see. The second Bass Bot (303 clone) is going through a Danelectro FAB Distortion pedal then into the Tascam."
