Anyone confirm the following: "It sounds great , the bass station keyboard sounds much better than the bass station rack in my opinion I have owned many over the years and have always held onto this one it just sounds really fat compared to the rack versions it has a very moog like quality to its oscillators I think"

Peavey Spectrum Synth multi-timbral demo with MPC1000XL

Published on Jun 19, 2015 stereoping

"A little realtime arrangement demo-ing the Peavey Spectrum Synth. The Peavey plays all synth parts getting most out of it's 6-part multitimbrality: bells, dark analogue horns, cello pad, lead synth and 2 different bass sounds. Sequenced on the MPC1000 which also brings in the drums and some vocal samples of a Laurie Webb sample cd. Minimal setup: The Peavey's output is put into the MPC's sampling input to make use of the MPC's internal effects (Reverb&Delay). Hope you like it."
