“As is. Well taken care of. Smoke free home. Note: The LED light on LFO 1 doesn't light up. Never did. This does not affect LFO 1s performance. All buttons and knobs respond to input. A non issue, really. Just fyi.
If you're looking at this you probably already know what it can do. Deceptively powerful little synth (3 oscillators!!) 2 LFOs with an all analog signal path. Control via the keypad, built in sequencer, cv or midi!”
"Looks 9.50 of 10
Better than average condition, some ebayers may say MINT but this is not a word I understand right.
Works 10 of 10
Everything works as specified, overhauled before shipping to have long life and to keep original sounds.
All electrolytic capacitors, some short life OpAmps/tramsistors/logis ICs are changed with new ones, microprocessors and RAMs are tested individually,
keys knobs, sliders, switches and jacks cleaning are done before shipping."
"Octave cat Mk1 duo/mono analogue synth in good working order and good condition for a 1976 built machine !
Sounds like no other, this thing is a beast and will blow all the newer modern analogues off the shelf. It has 2 oscillators and you can mix 7 waveforms simultaneously, the lowpass filter is very vintage sounding (maybe a little moogish) and when modulated with an oscillator it can sound like a vintage modular system !
Comes with the original manual and power lead !"
See if you can ID the synth at 2:30 (hint in the channel labels at the bottom of this post - don't look if you want to try and guess). If it's what I think it is, it has a much smaller than I thought. That or it's just the angle in the video.
"Malekko Richter Oscillator II Saw and Phase modded Triangle going into Analogue Solutions Telemark Filter. Intellijel Dual ADSR and Malekko VCA for sound shaping. Sequenced by Arturia Beastep Pro."
This one in via j j. That moment when you realize your synth just died. Ugh. I know the feeling. My OB-Xa finally bit the dust. I think it was due to the installed Numera MIDI finally giving out. I plan on picking up an Encore MIDI kit for it. Until then it sits on its side waiting.
For j j's EMX it appears it was the power supply. He verified by swapping it with the ESX per the following:
