"A Yamaha CS80 Analog Synthesizer in working condition. I had it diagnosed in July by the renowned Analogue Lab in Long Island City, New York. There's 1 dead voice (of 8) on bank one and 3 dead voices (of 8) on bank 2. The pitch bend ribbon needs to be repaired and all controls need to be cleaned. It could also use a full calibration/tuning to factory spec. Please see the photos. If you need it shipped, I can work with your shipping or freight company or deliver it myself to NY, NJ, or CT. Weighs about 240 pounds and has 4 wheels on the bottom. The electronics are under the control panel. When you lift up the panel, the long support screws to hold it up are missing. Thank you, Matt"

Some super nice pics of the Blofeld desktop. The auctions lists it as an analog synth but we all know our synths here. For those that don't the Blofeld is a digital wavetable & virtual analog synth.

"Engine 40106" – Live modular techno (CB's DIY Modular Synthesizer)

Published on Sep 3, 2015 Chris Beckstrom

"High quality audio available here:
https://chrisbeckstrom.bandcamp.com/t...

I recently built a drum module and repaired a noise module, which inspired me to make some analog techno. I started this project on a whim and never thought I'd get this far! It's time to make some music with the collection of modules I've built.

Performed live (no edits) on my homemade modular synthesizer.

Recorded through an old analog mixer (with a splash of spring reverb) into Ableton Live.

More about this project here:
https://hackaday.io/project/5826-diy-...

and here:
http://cb.hopto.org/cbfishes/2015/05/...

The bass drum circuit and CMOS noise generator circuit (the two main sounds in this track) are more or less straight out of Elliot Williams' Logic Noise series on Hackaday.com. Check it out here:

Infinity "A5000S" Expansion (PRE 03) - Virtual Kawai K5000S?

Published on Sep 3, 2015 IrishActs

"A short demo of the A5000S expansion PRE03 for Infinity.
http://www.irishacts.com"

Not finding much information on their site for this one aside from the following. Anyone know if this is a full blown synth engine or just a sample pack? The UI is clearly the K5000S and the name alludes to it.  The sound is definitely digital.  The original K5000S was a digital additive and PCM based synth.

"Infinity v2.0

Improved disk streaming.
Improved Audio Engine.
Super low CPU usage.
Fixed a rare timing issue that under certain conditions caused random clicks in loop points on certain systems.
ASIO4ALL optimisations.
It is strongly recommended that all users of Infinity upgrade to the latest version in order to benefit from the improvements. To install, simply overwrite your existing installation of Infinity with the new version.

Over writing your old version of Infinity will not overwrite your installed libraries. They will be instantly available in the new version of Infinity when you launch it, and you will instantly benefit from the upgrade without the need to make any changes."

Yes, I realize the voice was recorded too loud, the next video will be better."

Doepfer Announces A168-1 PW/PWM-Generator Eurorack Module

via PatchPierre.Net:

"Module A-168-1 is a pulsewidth modulation generator (PWM Module).
It derives a rectangle signal with adjustable pulsewidth from an external triangle, sawtooth or sine wave.
The external signal can be an LFO, VCO or any other signal with falling/rising slopes (e.g. ADSR). In addition the pulsewidth can be modulated by a CV signal (e.g. LFO or ADSR).
The typical application is the generation of a rectangle signal with PWM from VCOs or LFOs which do not yet have this feature (e.g. A-110-4, A-145, A-147-2, A-143-4, A-143-9).

The module is equipped with these controls and in/output:
- Manual PW control (PW)
- PWM CV Input with attenuator (PWM)
- Signal input (In)
- Output with LED control (Out)
- Inverted Output with LED control (/Out)
- Internal trimming potentiometer for PW (is adjusted for symmetrical 50:50 rectangle when the manual PW control is at center position)
- Internal trimming potentiometer for PWM range (is adjusted so that the manual PW control covers the full PW range 0 ... 100%)
- The trimming potentiometers are required to adjust the module for best operation for signals with different DC offsets (e.g. unipolar/bipolar signals) and different signal levels.
Normally the module is assigned to another module because the trimming potentiometer have to be readjusted when the input signal changes (unless the signals have nearly the same DC offset and level)

(planned for November 2015, price ~ Euro 50.00, price and release date are still without obligation)"
