"Up for sale is rare Korg SIGMA KP-30 Vintage Analog Synthesizer. There were only 1,000 of these made in 1979, with each units having its serial number plate on the front panel. This one has a serial # 0368.
The unit appears to be working fine functionally, all the keys and knobs and switches working well as being tested."

"I bought this synth in a pawn shop in Florida. I tested it out in the shop and it sounded really good. I took it home and put it in storage for about 10 years and now it does not work. When you plug it in there is a loud hum and no notes when keys are pressed. I do not have an interest in repairing this so I am selling it for parts or as a fixer-upper project. It is "as is".
The name plate is mostly rubbed off and the knobs are kinda dinged up but the wood and the plate with the knobs on it are in good shape. The power cord has a break in the insulation but it does power up.
The serial number is 1000-1881. You can research what rev. # it is from that.
It does not have midi. The last 5 keys on the right end are a little uneven."

For me is the Source one of the best synthesizer ever. The beefy sub bass reminds a bit on the Moog Taurus 1 bass pedal."
