"For sale is the Kawai SX-240, a classic, very rare and unique sounding dual DCO multi-waveform Analog Synthesizer (made in 1984) with SAW, SQUARE, PULSE (2nd LFO), BRASS (Ring Modulation) waveform, 8-voices of polyphony, an additional SUB Oscillator, Poly8/4/mono modes, a super-warm, lush, on-board chorus/ensemble effect, 8-SSM 2044 filters (used on Korg Mono/poly, Korg Trident, Korg Polysix, Kawai SX-210, Kawai K3 etc), a general LFO that can be routed everywhere in the DCO, VCF and the VCA, MIDI In/Out/Through, Portamento, Glissando, a 8-digits LED screen for editing the parameters and the option of being placed in Split or Dual patch modes. In Split mode you can assign two patches to be played in a split on the keyboard. In Dual mode two patches can be played at the same time for a rich, warm and layered sound, not very common in Analog Synthesizers. It has also a built-in, real time 1,500 note sequencer and chord memory.

Kawai SX-240 has a great rich, lush and unique analog sound to it that can't be reproduced by today's modern synthesizers.

"Ritm-2 in exceptional condition (collectors item) + original upper lid + cables included!
RItm-2 is a moog prodigy/micromoog kind of a clone but with soviet components which makes it sound more fluttery and overdriven which results in a more "fatter" sound.

Note: Ritm-2 operates under 220 volts, you would need a voltage transformer if you operate under 110 volts (can be bought at any local electric shop)"

"This Polivoks is in a quite good condition, there is a crack on the left rear bottom corner part and scratches on two keyboard notes but its still smooth and polished. Full maintenance and calibration has been made by a professional technician plus standard 1/4 jacks installed instead of the soviet ones...

The condition as you can see on the photos and video is really good except some scratches here and there but nothing fatal, keys are truly white. It comes with a case (upper lid) but the locks on them are broken. This is usual for the polivokses upper lids which are basically just used for transportation."

AKAI MFC42 Analogue Filter with Original Box

"Rare analogue filter module made as the perfect partner for the MPC 2000XL, but can be used with any sampler, synthesizer or other studio equipment (fits in a standard 19" rack).

It has a phono input stage so you can plug a turntable straight into it for sampling into old MPCs or other samplers... if only I'd owned this and my old 2000XL at the same time, I would never have let the 2KXL go!

It's an 8 Pole filter which can operate in stereo 2 or 4-Pole mode, or 2, 4 or even 8-Pole in mono. So when I used to plug this into an analogue monosynth, I ran it in 8-Pole mode for an extreme 8db per octave - in this extreme slope mode you can really twist sounds or make the purest, deepest bass without the volume loss shallower curves produce. Unlike some of the tamer filters built into a lot of synths and samplers, this one can be pushed all the way to extremes.

Papernoise Worked on the New UI for Audulus 3

Thought this was an interesting little bit of synth trivia for the archives. Papernoise has mainly been known for his hardware designs across the modular market and he recently designed a new case for the Sonic Potions LXR. It looks like he also worked with Taylor on the new UI for Audulus 3.
