0:00 - The Scat-Talker is a new limited edition module that contains a library of phonemes which can be selected by CV and Gate inputs with 1v/Octave pitch tracking. Words are formed by sequencing the phonemes.

0:21 - The SSL Scat-Talker is a single MU width 5U tall module for modular synthesizers

0:33 - Contained within the Scat-Talker is a lookup table of human speech 'phonemes', the smallest unit of speech that makes words sound different from each other.

0:47 - These phonemes can be selected under voltage control and be sequenced in an order that produces recognizable words or 'invented' and gibberish words

Two demo videos at the listing and at the bottom of this post.

"Alisa 1387 is very highly rated among other soviet synths.

The sound/tone is a kind of a mix between a SCI Pro-One and Roland SH2. Very gritty and warm. Above all, it has a built in factory CV in order to control it with an external sequencer.

This is a very rare piece especially in this condition (one of the best i've seen, almost like new). Comes with all factory cables. If needed i can provide the DIN-1/4 Jack adapter but for a little on top or without if you can solder the cable to a standard TRS jack yourself or at your technicians.

The synth itself works perfectly except the power light bulb is not lighting up but i do not think that it's an issue, taking into account that it doesn't reflect on the sound."

Quiet Saturdays - Episode 5 - Live Studio

Published on Dec 12, 2015 Alba Ecstasy

"Episode 5 comes with an introduction into the world of modular synths.
The track starts slowly with the Z3000 MKII analog oscillator via Doepfer A-138 mixer, Mutable Instruments Ripples filter, MFB Dual ADSR and Doepfer A-132-3 DVCA - a minimum modular setup but enough to create a sequence with the Doepfer Dark Time.
Virus Ti2 is giving its pads, the Bass Station II comes with a jarresque FX, Radias is kicking the drums and the System-1 Promars offers the leads.
