"This particular example, serial number 100-4125, is in very excellent condition, is completely serviced and studio ready. The Pro One was Sequential's attempt at taking their legendary Prophet 5 poly-synth and packing it into a compact, inexpensive, monophonic analog synth. It has two VCOs, a great 4-pole lowpass filter, two ADSR envelopes, and a compact three-octave keyboard. Very excellent, this is perfect for any studio, collector or synth enthusiast."

"All sounds are made via the Mutable Instruments Elements and parallel processed through Twin MI Clouds, Mannequins Sisters, guitar pedals - Echo Degrader, Take 5, El Capistan, Big sky and Afterneath . The gates and all modulation are self generating. The Octatrack is sending clock to Tempi to control all modulation including the Tempi itself. I'm sampling into the Octatrack all throughout the piece and jumping back and forth between the modular and the OT to constantly mix in and out all parallel streams."

"stripped the knifonium down to two slightly detuned saw waves. manipulating filter cutoff with the y-axis of the joystick, and 12 semitones of pitchbend with the x-axis. very little resonance on the filter. output amp set to pentode, VCA boost disengaged.

there is NO POSTPROCESSING on the knifonium with the exception of mild limiting which was applied to the output of the track as a whole. other than that, no compression, EQ, or other effects have been used.

this is pure, unadulterated tube madness. utterly satisfying. other than the unfortunate wubby dubstep feel to the whole affair."
