It is an analog two-oscillator monophonic lead and bass synth with hard wired and patchable connections.

Full array of knobs for every imaginable parameter/control
Purchased from Japan in 2011, the instrument has been kept in amazing condition since its manufacture in 1982! A true classic, this original, full-sized MS-20 has been MIDI retrofitted and serviced regularly whilst in my care by Melbourne Synth Service."

"This morning, before work, I went into a nearby forest and had a little jam session with a chord progression I'm using for a track I'm working on on my EMX-1. I got the PO-20 from my wife as a birthday present the other day, and it's really fun. Though limited soundwise, it's a very good companion for musical endeavours :)

"A piece made with the Roland SH-2 as the only sound source. Obviously trying for a BoC feel. The percussion sounds were made with sounds sampled from the SH-2 and played back from an MPC-2500. I had to get pretty creative to make the clap sound but I got there. It was a good learning experience. =)
