You can buy these patches for your SQ-80 - read the description for further details (scroll down).
Synthesizer demo of the ENSONIQ SQ-80 from 1987.
The intro sequence was produced with the sequencer of the SQ-80 playing sounds from the AnalogAudio1 patch bank. In this movie I play my own sounds - on some sounds I used a small amount of reverb from a Dynacord DRP 20 or/and a Korg SDD-3000 for delay effects (but no other effects like compression or chorus).
The ENSONIQ SQ-80 is an upgraded, enhanced version of the popular ESQ-1 from 1986. You could say, it's a "turbo version". It has more waveforms, a floppy disc drive, more sequencer memory, a phones jack, a lighter casing and other improvements. It still has the same great analog lowpass filters, which sound great when overdriven (like heard in the video). The SQ-80 is a flexible synth. It has 3 oscillators, 4 envelopes, 4 DCAs and 3 LFO's per voice. OSC sync and amplitude modulation possible - like on analog synthesizers. It has a velocity sensitive keyboard and polyphonic aftertouch. Built in pattern sequencer (similar to the one in the Akai MPCs).

"The AX80 is the first pro-keyboard produced by Akai, released in 1984. It's an eight-voice programmable analog synthesizer with a full 61-note keyboard. Two analog oscillators per voice plus a sub oscillator provide the basis of its punchy analog sounds that can be described as similar to a Roland Juno 106. Very good bass, brass, synth sounds, and effects are possible. The keyboard is in great condition for being 30 years old. The only issue I have found is the 5 LCD screens that show a visual example of the parameters do not work. This does not affect any sort of navigation or functionality of the keyboard. It is a perfectly working keyboard that sounds incredible."
