If you get lemons, make lemon juice: Theremin Tale #1
Published on Dec 17, 2016 Carolina Eyck
"Playing an instrument is like telling a story. No matter how abstract it may sound, one can always imagine a fable taking place, note after note. Today I improvised on the sentence 'If you get lemons, make lemon juice', sent by Natalie.
I encourage you all to write down short tales and favorite sayings here in the comments, and I hope to improvise on as many stories as possible."
Synthetic Heartbeat - Episode 2
Published on Dec 17, 2016 Alba Ecstasy
"Synthetic Heartbeat - Episode 2 takes it's pulse from the Roland JD-Xi: a filtered TR-909 kick, sequences and bass. microKorg for pads and System-1 for pluck (both played by the Beatstep Pro), Virus Ti2 for flute and Yarns (I love this little sequencer!) is playing the Z3000 mkII with filter from Doepfer SEM and Roland Scooper and delay from Demora.

"Roland Jupiter 4 - Live Playing ('Showdown'). Some delay from the D16 Repeater. Obviously the JP4 can do more than 'Stranger Things' type of tracks... but love it best for that type of stuff."

"Pizzaman" - Dance Funk theme with DMX, OB-Xa, Stingray
Published on Dec 16, 2016 SynthMania
"I came up with a cool Disco Funk stingray bass line tonight, and made a song out of it. Song title by my fifteen year old daughter Grace, who came by the studio chomping away at a large slice of pizza and I asked her how I should title it."
Sad Classic - a melodic patch for Eurorack synthesizer
Published on Dec 16, 2016 Luke Killen
"This patch uses a simple four note progression (from a Mutable Instruments Braids sequenced by a tiptop z8000) for the basis a melodic rhythm based patch.
The main melody is provided by a Sputnik Oscillator unfiltered but using shape modulation to moved from harmon and pure tones. Voltage control of the shape is provided by Make Noise Maths which also has it's Rise stage modulated by an LFO. Make Noise Rene is providing the melody.
Additional percussion is sequenced by a Delphtronic Triggerman providing patterns for the kick (Mutable Instrument Peaks), Snare (Noise Engineering Basimilus Iteratus) hats and percussion."
EMW Multiwave Digital Oscillator Eurorack Module Demo
Published on Dec 15, 2016 FatSynthDude
"This module is an absolute godsend for anyone looking for MIDI-controlled digital oscillation and in my opinion, it doesn't get enough love. This is just a quick run-through of the waveforms, some variations introduced via the wavefolder control, and then some of the suboscillator waves. I can't recommend this module enough."
