The Roland Boutique JP-08 JUPITER-8
recreation with K-25M keyboard in an
extensive deep TWEAKING showing off
the power of the JP-08 & it's ACB technology.
I have owned a Jupiter-8 (see my video for it)
and YES the JP-08 can sound like it but it
lacks some of the warmth & charm that a real
JP8 has that it can only produce. That being said,
the JP-08 is FANTASTIC for sound design &
music composition. The JP-08 sounds & behaves
just like a Jupiter-8. Perfect for the person who
craves a JP8 but has a limited budget or just
wants to save a bit. It can be a fight to shape
the right TUNING (as you will hear in the video demo)
the little sliders makes it hard to hit the right sweet spot.
A external midi controller with a ton of assignable
sliders will be a blast to use to control the JP-08.
It's made for all genres, not just the local eighties
cover bands, but serious audio tweakers who need
some serious kit to mold their specific needs into life.
I am using a Roland V-Synth as a MIDI CONTROLLER
for this video, it has Attack & Release programmed
to it's assignable knobs. Recorded DRY into Ableton
Live 7 with no other effects.

Novation Circuit & Korg E2: Polyester Jam

"The two boxes are playing together in a somewhat weird sequence which turns halfway into a hoppy 120bpm melodic techno jam. I halved the tempo to achieve more bars and used the odd pattern length feature of the E2 for more evolving beat progression. Slight EQ and compression added ITB. For this video I also made a new animated intro of my channel's logo (trying some new skills in AfterEffects:). Please enjoy and share your thoughts! Cheers!"

via the seller: "Up for sale is our legendary Prophet 5 Analog Synth. This is the original beast that spawned the newer Prophet 08, REV2, Prophet 6 etc etc etc. There is simply NOTHING that comes close to the sound this beast gives. The new stuff is good, but its NOT this. This synth MADE countless songs throughout history... the 80s music era would be nothing without the Prophet 5.

I am the original owner. It has always been maintained by our veteran analog synth technician. It was last tech'd last year. All components checked... recapped where needed and calibrated. I have always only used it in my private studio for many recordings. It has NEVER been gigged. It looks fantastic as you can see from the pics. Almost "cherry" aside from a very minor nick here and there.

It all works and sounds amazing. No operational issues. Its never given me grief when used... turn it on, warm it up and TURN THOSE KNOBS! Instant gratification. Although it is playing, sounding and working as a Prophet 5 should. I am offering this as no returns and with the understanding that after being shipped in transit. It MAY need a tuning or calibration. Its the nature of these VERY old electronic synths. Im also selling an ARP Odyssey original here... listing it as is as well. I do pack extremely safe so no worries there."
