"Like new used condition. Great cheap way to get that awesome Moog bass! Comes in the box, with the power adapter, and CV expansion too (originally sold separately for 40$) so you can route signals within the synth, or connect to other synths easily. I'll throw in a few CV cables."

Published on Oct 16, 2017 Blamsoft

via Propellerheads:

"Please note that this product requires Reason 9.2

Blamsoft, creator of the VK-1 Viking and Zero Hybrid synthesizers, knows DSP and the Rack Extension SDK inside and out. eXode, maker of top selling refills, knows synthesis and sound design backwards and forwards. It’s a perfect team to bring you something big, a synth that pushes the Rack Extension platform to its ultimate potential. Introducing Expanse Hyperwave Synthesizer!

New in version 3.0
A powerful envelope editor mode allows you to make your own envelope by adding, removing, and adjusting stages. It features modifier key combinations for advanced editing.
You can now create custom wavetables using the envelope editor mode
A spectral EQ is available for each oscillator independently. You can draw a curve the same way as with the envelopes, creating your own filter curve.
Odd and Even harmonics mods adjust the harmonics of the waveform for interesting effects
A Pluck mode uses Karplus-Strong synthesis to create a plucked string sound
FM and RM are available from each of the oscillators including itself"

Legowelt Artist Patches for Roland Boutique D-05 Linear Synthesizer

Published on Oct 15, 2017 RolandChannel

"Legowelt, a.k.a Danny Wolfers, is a one-of-a-kind synthesist who has created his own musical path that does not align with genres nor tradition. All Legowelt productions are filled with head-turning moments only capable through his wizardry of all things synthesizer.

We had the pleasure of sharing with him the Roland Boutique D-05 Linear Synthesizer - a compact reproduction of the Roland D-50 from the late 1980s, one of the most influential synthesizers ever produced.

In a matter of days, Legowelt had created a bank of 64 Artist Patches that could only come from his unique, creative space. This bank is a mix of punchy, percussive patches (suited to the D-05 in-built sequencer and arpeggiator) with dreamy, ambient pads to suit anything from deep techno to lo-fi hip-hop.

These patches have been made available for free for all Roland Boutique D-05 users. Click on the link below to download and add to your own sounds."

"Aside from 4000 through-hole components, the Deckard's Dream DIY synth requires soldering almost 700 very small surface mount capacitors.
Should you do that with a soldering iron or a smd hot air rework station? You decide!"

Part 1 here.

GRP A2 & A4

Published on Aug 9, 2017 Thomas Neyens

"A simple jam I made when exploring the GRP A2 for the first time. I used both GRP's internal sequencers and the Cirklon to sequence the other synths. Except for the BigSky and Chorus Echo, there are no effects and I didn't do any post-editing of sounds.

Apologies for the bad IMovie skillzzzz. I just wanted to show how intuitive the GRP's are.

Synths used:
GRP A2 (+ Strymon BigSky)
GRP A4 (+ Strymon BigSky)
Roland TR-808 (+ Roland RE-501)
Roland MKS-80 (+ Strymon BigSky)"
