Published on Aug 7, 2018 Espen Kraft

"This is a quick teaser of the fantastic German 'Linndrum' called Dr.Böhm Digital-Drums from around 1983.
Fully programmable and with a optional keyboard attached that gives the most beautiful Italo/synthpop auto accompaniment.

This is all played live in the studio for a quick demonstration. Full video soon!
All sounds from the Böhm, except the Italo synthbell that is the Roland Alpha Juno 2. A splash of some reverb and compression and its off!"

Ther-a-Spin ~ The Self Playing Theremin

Published on Aug 6, 2018 karl welty

"A Moog M32 automata accompanied by Moog Theremin. The coffee cans on the rotating platform change its pitch. I was in a mood to just listen. M32 three part self-modulating voice consisting of a low pulse wave drone, a white noise component, and periodic filter self resonance. The Theremins pitch is being changed by the coffee cans on the rotating platform. It took some experimentation to find items with sufficient volume, material, that didnt weigh too much, and that could be placed in such a way that the pitches would modulate. Moving the stool slightly on the floor globally tuned it, slight shifts of each can helped dial individual notes."

Delta CEP A: Paraphonic Chords & Spectralis Groove and Bass

Published on Aug 6, 2018 Jörg Schaaf

"Delta CEP A: In paraphonic mode, you can play chords when using the MIDI connection. In this example the chords are triggered by the Spectralis II Sequencer. Later, I am adding a groove and a bass from the Spectralis.

The DELTA CEP A is a new semimodular musicsynthesizer with monophonic and paraphonic playmodes, preset memories and snapshot automation. The DELTA CEP A is the perfect starting point into the EURORACK world and will become available soon as desktop standalone synthesizer and EURORACK module. The DELTA CEP A works just out of the box without any cable patching. If you are looking for a EURORACK FX unit or for POLYPHONY within your cabinet, you should also have a closer look as well. Are you curious about connectivity with your other gear? The DELTA CEP A has a MIDI interface and connects to every MIDI gear (MIDI sequencers, Keyboards etc.) The desktop version comes with standard 1/4 inch jack inputs and outputs.

The audio streams in that video are directly recorded from the main outs of the Delta. We have not used any compression or volume automation. What you hear is the original sound of the unit. If you have the impression, that it is not loud enough, please just adjust the volume;-)"
