"This is a mint condition Access Virus ti 2 Polar DARKSTAR with original box, usb cable and power adapter. Still has plastic on screen and has always been covered from dust with a cover from Digital Deck Covers This is the limited addition model with different color scheme compared to normal Polar. This works perfectly and was rarely used. This is the new version which can be seen by the power adapter, older polar keyboards have external ac adapters. Connects perfectly with DAW and can be used via its plug-in thanks to the total integration. This is a staple in the electronic dance music scene and is capable of so much more."

"output jacks are 1/4"
this is a pretty weird noise beast and each one is a bit different.
here's a video of this exact build being played with for a couple minutes :]
you can use your fingers or hook the pads up to some other contact points. say using alligator clips to wire up other objects that you can be more aggressive with, while keeping the grassi safe. it has some metal standoffs that could be removed to allow for screwing it down onto a piece of wood / case / etc.
there are also 2 connections for speakers if you wish to wire/solder some very small ones onto a case / board etc that you hook this up to."

"All controls work as they should, most importantly the joystick which has seen very little actual use (i've always used an external joystick on the sy35 mapped to it to keep it low use). Some of the buttons, especially the blue patch selection buttons, are a little bit stubborn though this hasn't been a huge problem since I just use a controller keyboard / ableton to switch patches. These are absolutely amazing sounding machines, but not much fun to program from the front panel so I'd recommend using a software editor and patch librarian. Firmware version is v1.1 but I expect whoever buys it will want to put in their preferred version, I understand a homebrewed v1.3 is actually in the works from a private party you may want to look into which adds functions like LFO sync/unsync. Replica CEM5530s are also being made in limited runs, though the originals in this one still work just fine." Pics of the inside below.

"Roland's MKS-30, also known as Planet-S, is doing 2 percussion tracks and 2 melodic arpeggiated lines here with panning left/right. In addition, I used Native Instruments' Absynth 5 Preset 'Akustikly Inklined' with heavy pitchbend for the cetaceans' voices.
For digital FX I utilized N.I. Reaktor 5 again, it is completely mind-boggling in view of the versatility of the NI Reaktor User Library to which one gets access with their Reaktor license.
This track showcases what can be achieved when even a humble DCO synth as the MKS-30 finds itself in talented hands. The attached hardware programmer PG200 helps tremendously in the creative process."
