WALDORF QUANTUM // First Quick Run-Through of a few Presets

Published on Dec 14, 2018 Genshi Media Group

"::| TO HEAR THE FULL RANGE OF FREQUENCIES, A GOOD PAIR OF HEADPHONES ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |::

I finally received my Waldorf Quantum Hybrid Synth today! Was first in line at Sweetwater Sound (ordered just over a year ago!) This is just a quick run-through of a few of the presets minutes after unboxing; with the final clip being my first attempt at programming a patch. There are much better videos of this out there already, I just wanted to document my first experience with it. Once I dive deeper into this amazing beast of a synth, I will post much better videos of my own sounds and how I will use them in compositions and film scores.

George Frideric Handel's Sarabande on the Sequential Prophet X

Published on Dec 13, 2018 Sean Christopher - Evoking Emotion Through Music

"For the Sequential Prophet X I decided to do suite 4 of George Frideric Handel's well known Keyboard suite in D minor (HWV 437). The Keyboard suite in D minor (HWV 437) was composed by George Frideric Handel, for solo keyboard (harpsichord), between 1703 and 1706. It is also referred to as Suite de pièce Vol. 2 No. 4. It was first published in 1733.

Only the Prophet X was used for this piece, including the X's built-in FX, and was multi-tracked using Cubase 10."

Random Lights by Baghead

"Four S&H sources and the Benjolin cross connected to the Schlappi ANgle Grinder. A bit rough in spots but now you know how they interact."

"This is the simply a Benjolin feeding into a Schlappi Angle Grinder with 4 random S&H cvs

Also the H9 Nebula preset for 'ambience'

Some interesting sections, headphones are a big sub recommended"
