A Strange Happening // Buchla Music Easel + Waldorf Quantum + Moog Grandmother
Published on Jan 31, 2019 Genshi Media Group
Nice mix of synths there.
"::| TO HEAR THE FULL RANGE OF FREQUENCIES, A GOOD PAIR OF HEADPHONES ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |::
A Strange Happening - is a silly little improvisation between 3 very different synths; the Buchla Music Easel (with both Oscillators sequenced via the Malekko Varigate 4+) the Waldorf Quantum (using my own Custom Wavetables) and the Moog Grandmother. Effects used on the Music Easel were the TC Electronic Mimio for stereo width and the Empress Effects Echosystem Dual Delay. On the Grandmother I was using the Strymon El Capistan, and on the Quantum just the internal effects."

Has Elektron Lost Its Way? Sidstation, Mono & Machinedrum (Part1)
Published on Jan 30, 2019 Synth & Sundry
"Elektron started with the Sidstation in 1998 built around the sound chip from the Commodore 64. It wouldn’t look out of place on a spy’s desk, somewhere in Cold War Sweden.
3 years later, they upped the ante with the Machinedrum, a digital drum machine with four percussive sound engines, a super-involved sequencer and multiple outs.
The Monomachine came in 2003 and applied the same form factor and sequencer magic but, this time, around five synth engines.
Elektron uploaded their first video to YouTube in 2009. It starred Hector (played by Kola Krauze) as a stern instructor.
The setting was a positively dystopian anechoic chamber. In my opinion, Elektron, at this point, saw itself not as a maker of consumer-friendly products but rather, as designers of unique machines.
They appealed to those crazy enough to try."
ContinuuMini first improv
Published on Jan 30, 2019 boxoftextures
"First recording of the Haken ContinuuMini. I had it for maybe 20 minutes, and while I feel I can improve hitting the notes exactly with a little practice the thing just feels totally natural. Arpeggio is the IK Multimedia Uno, lead line is the ContinuuMini only with no external effects."
Folktek Resonant Garden (No Talking, Patch and Set Up in the Description)
Published on Jan 30, 2019 Stefano Bertoli
"First session with Folktek Resonant Garden alone, no external effects nor EQ.
One patch only and three different, very simple, FX set up combinations. Every set up has been
played with fingers, violin bow, flumi (gummy gong mallet) and two different Buddha Machines
on both Gardens (metal spring trees) and on the instrument surface itself.
I also played with different effects parameters (later in the description).
Patching of the three Alter (FX) elements (Alter I left and right, Alter II in the center):
Alter II out into Alter I (first on the left) input, Alter I out into Alter I (second one
on the right) input, Alter I output right into GO:MIXER.
