Drums are my custom TR-808 kit on IMPULSE.
But yes, all sounds are the MOOG Grandmother!
A bit of a psychedelic visual trip to a very groovy, yet
basic track. It's no BT, Crystal Method or Uberzone,
but it is ALL Moog Grandmother! So yes it can do trance!
Or whatever the name is of the new dance crave right now.

I loaded some external samples, like a pad, a Shepard tone and some blips from my modular. The other sounds (Bass, Drums and arpeggio) are from the internal synth engine.

"VCS3 Putney clone synthesizer, the Cloney ! :) . Work finished! Making some abstract sounds to test the unit.
Used two output channel to make stereo sounds. Pure sound direct from the synthesizer, no effects added, no make up. Reverb sound coming from the spring reverb built in processor."

"An owner’s manual/patch book was never made for the MacBeth M5 or M5N. Because Ken MacBeth was inspired by the ARP 2600, this owner’s manual/patch book begins with an 18-page side by side comparison with color photos and diagrams of the M5 and the ARP. Every socket, slider, rotary dial and switch of the M5 are explained in detail with pictures and text. Page 20 provides a list of 50 patch diagrams contained in the patch book section.

Although the ARP 2600 patch book can be used with limited success to create sounds on the M5, the substantial differences between these 2 semi-modular synthesizers justifies the M5 having its own. These differences consist not only in “normalized” connections vs. required patching, but in parameters that are unique to each synth. I spent just over a year on this project, communicating periodically with Ken MacBeth, who assured me that there were no circuit changes in the M5N compared to the original M5. Thus, the patch book diagrams apply equally to both models. For ease of use, each patch diagram is accompanied by a color-coded explanatory text corresponding to the referenced parameters shown in the same color. The patch diagrams are designed to illustrate both the sound and functionality of the M5/M5N. Re-creating all 50 diagrams will provide a solid foundation in semi-modular synth programming on the M5/M5N. There is also an appendix containing a 7-page list of all the M5/M5N specifications, with an explanation of every function.

"Sequential Circuits Pro One installed new CPU which gives you way more steps for the sequencer AND keeps your stored sequences after you turn it off and doesnt erase it like all the old ones do. Still have old CPU, plug in play easy to reinstall.

Also upgraded to new Fatar keybed. The old jwire keybed worked, but this gives a brand new feel and I still have the old one.

Also comes with custom wooden black case!

It has small 60cycle hum typical on some models but hum eliminator gets rid of the ground loop and I've always used one."

"The case is 36hp. It has all the basic modules required for a fully functioning mono Synth with 6 available VCO waveforms, 1 ADSR envelope generator, 2 VCAs, 1 basic LFO with triangle and square wave outputs and 1 clockable LFO with 6 waveforms and control over time division plus 1 Low Pass Filter and a cascading mixer. The power is supplied by a Frequency Central Power supply with a Feedback Modules fixed distribution board giving a total of 9 power headers. The case has Doepfer style rails with sliding nuts - you can easily swap out modules as this is fully modular.
