Dubler Studio Kit Real-Time Vocal Recognition MIDI Controller
Currently on Kickstarter
"Dubler Studio Kit is a real-time vocal recognition MIDI controller. It offers up a never seen before way to translate your musical ideas into reality, using the one instrument you’ve been practising since birth— the voice. With Dubler Studio Kit you can hum a melody or synth pattern, beatbox to trigger a virtual drumkit, or manipulate effects and filters with a “hmmm”, “laaaa” or “oohhh” sound— all in real-time.
Dubler Studio Kit is a real-time vocal recognition MIDI controller.
Our kit offers up a never seen before way to translate your musical ideas into reality, using the one instrument you’ve been practising since birth— the voice.
The kit comes as—
The Dubler software — a virtual MIDI instrument ( a desktop application for Mac + PC) Compatible with any production software [DAW]. It is not a plugin or VST.
The Dubler microphone — a low latency custom USB mic, tuned for the Dubler software.
As musicians we all sing, hum, and record voice memos to track snippets of ideas – but that’s often where that idea ends, never making it into the studio or onto the stage.
Our goal: To help you to release the stems of musical ideas trapped inside your head and get them directly into your production software— simply by vocalising them.
Now anyone can turn their voice directly into MIDI— quickly, easily, intuitively and LIVE."

Mystic Circuits Tree - Advanced Sequential Switch
Published on Mar 12, 2019 Mystic Circuits
"Tree is all about possibilities. A sequential switch with 8 positions that yields limitless paths between them, driving Tree with multiple clock sources can automatically create new sequences not easily made by hand. The clock, reset and backwards inputs drive Tree like a normal sequential switch with control over the direction of the sequence, whereas the “shift” inputs perform binary addressing of the steps with all 6 clock inputs available for simultaneous use. Featuring bidirectional inputs and outputs, when the common node is unplugged it is normalled to a high voltage allowing Tree to be used as a gate sequencer. The Turing Machine expansion port in the back allows for future expansion of Tree’s capabilities, including the ability to be used as a note sequencer."

How to install the oplab Module on OP-Z - quick guide
Published on Mar 12, 2019 cuckoomusic
"The new CV MIDI input/ output module for the OP-Z is here. It's called Oplab Module. It will help you connect the OP-Z to MIDI devices, Pocket Operator devices, and Modular systems.
This is just a quick guide on how to install the module into your OP-Z... in case you were wondering. I will use this a lot in the future for syncing to, and sequencing external gear.
cheers

CGS Serge Modular Synth + Klangbau Köln Spring Reverb #TTNM
Published on Mar 12, 2019 The Tuesday Night Machines
"Playing my BOCGS Serge Modular Synth through my newly installed Klangbau Köln Spring Reverb. PATCH NOTES BELOW :)
---------
PixelNoises Synth T-Shirts by The Tuesday Night Machines:
https://shop.spreadshirt.co.uk/pixeln...
---------
Audio gear used:
- Best of CGS Ken Stone / Serge 4U Banana Modular Synthesizer (BOG, MARSH & SWAMP Panels)
- Klangbau Köln Spring Reverb (http://klangbauköln.de/)
The patch is rather simple. Two voices with vibrato through VCAs, mixed and then sent through the Serge VCF. The VCAs are modulated by a DUSG envelope each. Pitch sequencing is done by the Sequencer Programmer and the Gated Comparator in step-sequencer mode (just one looping stage with CV from the Mix output). The two CGS Utility LFOs provide Vibrato to the voices. There is a third voice, which is just the high pitched melody going through the Frequency Divider, which is also modulated and offset from the parent sequence (using a delayed Extended ADSR). Then we have some random CV form the tempo-synced Noise module and some smaller bits here and there and at the end I've got the a Klangbau Köln Spring Reverb mixed with the dry signal."
Update:
Experimental CGS Serge Modular Synth Sounds #TTNM
Published on Mar 12, 2019 The Tuesday Night Machines
"After my more musical Best of CGS Serge jams, this one is a modular synth noodle session, playing various bleeps and bloops by using feedback, a resonant filter and lots of CV cross-modulation of classic modules like the DUSG, Gated Comparator and Infinite Melody. All three Ken Stone panels are patched here, the BOG, the MARSH and the SWAMP. Reverb is again provided by the awesome Klangbau Köln Spring Reverb :)"
