Buchla 208r rev2 - STORED PROGRAM SOUND SOURCE. Built with uA726s.

Buchla 258c - DUAL OSCILLATOR MODEL. Built with uA726s.

Eardrill ModuleModule Chassis containing Eardrill VCA, Eardrill ADSR, and Jason Butcher VCBF 291 style Buchla filter, modded with a white noise generator output.

Jason Butcher 2U touch plate controller / Buchla 216 style.

"Maxime Ingrand is a guitarist and keyboards player in the French post-rock band Lost in Kiev and producer for the electronica project ARCHE. Lost in Kiev is a blend of epic and massive post-rock, driven by the energy of rock mixed with electronic sounds. Their first two albums, Motions and Nuit Noire (on Dunk! records) were both well-received by the press and audience at their live shows. Recently, the group released their new album Persona via Pelagic records. ARCHE is a solitary voyage that invites the listener to a forgotten universe at the convergence of an astral cinematographic ambiance laden with ascending melodies.

We chatted with Maxime on how he’s using the Mopho x4 in his music."

"Synth4ever is a Canadian ambient artist, sound designer and electronic musician who performs live ambient electronica, synth demos and patch design via his popular YouTube channel.

With influences ranging from Isao Tomita, Autechre, Boards of Canada, Vangelis, Ulrich Schnauss and more, Synth4ever channels his love for ambient chillout music into this diverse sound bank for the Novation Peak and Summit.

This ambient pack features numerous spacey pads, lush soundscapes, grainy textures, melodic arps, cutting leads, motion loops and experimental SFX. Each patch also has tasteful aftertouch, animate and modwheel assignments to encourage further sonic exploration by the musician.

In creating these patches, Synth4ever's goal was to push Peak’s hardware into new sonic territory by leveraging new features in the v1.2 firmware update. As a result, you will find many examples of modulated effects as an integral part of his patch design, and extensive use of the mod matrix to create vast morphing soundscapes.

Luke Neptune's 80s vs 90s soundset for Synthmaster One.

Those of you that know me know i'm more of a hardware guy.
However every now and again a plug in comes along that really blows me away. Synthmaster One most definitely falls into that category!

For this soundset the guys at KV331 Audio sampled my OB-6 and Prophet 6 with great care and detail. They then sent me an updated version of Synthmaster One containing the samples and i was extremely impressed with how well they sounded. It really did sound like i was playing my OB-6/P6.
I used these samples to create many of the sounds in this set, including some of my signature patches that you may have heard in my previous OB-6 and P6 soundsets. This may be music to the ears of those of you who like my OB6 and P6 soundsets but can't use them as you don't own those synths.

One thing i really enjoyed whilst making this soundset was having the ability to mix analog style oscillators with FM or Wavetables style oscillators. To be able to create sounds that sound like the love child of a DX7 & Juno 60 is so exciting and incredibly inspiring to me. This feature has enabled me to create certain sounds within this soundset that i simply couldn't do with my hardware.

As mentioned above this soundset is free with the latest version of Synthmaster One so if you haven't yet updated, do so.
If you don't yet own a copy of Synthmaster One, get it!
