Seak ADM-5 . Czechoslovak analog drum modul.

Published on Nov 9, 2019 Cyril Metodey

This is the first Seak ADM-5 to be featured on the site. Be sure to check out the New Old label for more.

"Pure analog drum machine. Made in Slovakia (1989-1990) Some potentiometers are not clean yet, needs some maintenance, but sounds great...
I recommend using headphones=pan knobs :)

I trigger only 4 channels here (Snare, Kick, Tom3 and 4,), one pair is panned stereo jack from sequencer app in phone, and second pair is stereo jack from fruity loops, also panned."

"Up for sale is a vintage Moog Memorymoog Plus synthesizer, one of the coolest polysynths ever made. It has 18 oscillators (3 per voice) and each voice has a 24dB/octave low pass filter. The Memorymoog is often described architecturally as six Minimoogs in one unit.

The synth is been completely serviced in 2014 and still in perfect working condition. The service report is included in the sale.

The synth comes with a model 1120 cv pedal, the owner’s and technical manual, and a brochure from 1982.

Cosmetically it’s also in nice condition. Not mint, but still very good for its age. Especially the back panel has signs of use: a few scratches, wear and tear and some screws are missing.

At the front panel and keyboard you’ll find some very minor scratches. The wooden case has little signs of use as well. Please check all the photos for an overall impression of the condition.

It’s a 220v version and the serial number is: 1590."

"The unit is professionally serviced, tested & perfect working condition with signs of use.

Great condition, with case.
FAEMI-1M was produced by Katchkanar radio equipment factory "Formanta", which is the manufacturer of such well-known makes of synthesizers as Polivoks, Formanta, Manual, Maestro etc. It bears the same logo on the package and retains some of its most impressive capabilities. A polyphonic analog synthesizer FAEMI-1M has a keyboard of 4 octaves. Main generator, infralow frequency generator, lowpass filter, amplifier are in the basis of the synthesis in this instrument. The control panel is divided into 5 sections: generator, timbre, vibrato, filter, amplifier.

GENERATOR: release, tuning, glissando

TIMBRE: piano, strings, clavesin, wind instruments

VIBRATO (generator of pulse low frequency): frequency, depth, delay

FILTER: attack, decay, sustain, release, frequency, resonance, modulation (works only for a brass section)

AMPLIFIER: volume

Has been tested and it's fully functional and works just like it should.

FAEMI-1M has a really interesting PURE ANALOG UNIQUE sound.

Like almost all Soviet synths is built like a tank from heavy materials."

Behringer Odyssey as a performance synth - 5 patches in one track

Published on Nov 9, 2019 Arrayzable

"In this video I will use 5 different patches while playing live.

1. Plucked sound with echo effect.
2. Lead sound.
3. Soft and round flute like sound.
4. Hard but thin sound, kinda like a harpsichord.
5. Ultra powerful lead sound.

The 'backing track' is sequenced via the Korg Electribe EMX-1, and I'm both playing the EMX-1 and changing patterns on it, so it sometimes steals my concentration from the Odyssey - sorry about that :)
The string sound in the beginning comes from the Korg X5Dr and is a Jay B patch.
The guitar like sounds up next are from the Novation KS4.
The heavy long noted bass sounds comes from the DSI Mopho.
The short noted bass line comes from the Volca Bass.
The Vocoder sound comes from the Korg ih (Interactive Vocal Harmony) and is controlled live from the Korg R3.
The rest is all Behringer Odyssey. The Bodyssey uses it's inbuilt reverb effect.

This is an original track called "All Over Again". Lyrics and music made by Arrayzable.

As always live play with synths and sequencers.

Used in this track:

Behringer Odyssey
Novation KS4 (K-Station)
Korg Electribe EMX-1
Korg ih Interactive Harmony
DSI Mopho
Volca Bass
Korg X5DR
Korg R3
