Creating a super simple patch on a modular synthesizer - Synton Fenix

Published on Apr 24, 2020 David Morley

"Creating a super simple patch on a modular synthesizer
How to patch a modular synth. Demonstrated on the Synton Fenix Modular synthesizer. Not particularly exciting for experienced synthesists, or those with experience, but perhaps it shows the basics of how to create a simple classic synth sound on almost any modular synth. I hope you find it useful.

Edited by Amber Morley

At the end I go a bit of script :-)
Enjoy, like and share if you feel so inclined!
Stay well and stay safe."

ACID TAPE

Published on Apr 24, 2020 THE TUESDAY NIGHT MACHINES

"STREAM & DOWNLOAD: https://nightmachines.bandcamp.com/al...

♥ SUPPORT: http://bit.ly/ttnm-support

ACID TAPE provides you with thicc and crunchy analog Acid music, suitable for any situation in which you'd like to indulge in thicc and crunchy analog Acid music.

It is a danceable, high-octane rush of ten (11) vacuum tube burnt, DIY trash punk 303 filter knob twister sessions, spiced up with booming 606 kicks, distorted hi-hats and sprinkled with blood, sweat and tears, from when I accidentally cut myself with the kitchen knife, while cooking my favorite Halloumi Spaghetti recipe. It's basically just crisply pan-fried pieces of Halloumi cheese, green Bell Peppers, Almond stuffed Olives and Capers. Add Tomato sauce, some freshly ground Pepper and voilà! Quick and easy, but it tastes adultly delicious. Just like this ACID TAPE! But this one's for your ears, obviously. Enjoy these Acid Trax! #seopro

Created by The Tuesday Night Machines with two Cyclone Analogic TT-303 Bass Bots and a TT-606 Drum Drone.

On track #10 'Acid Eternal' an AE Modular Synthesizer makes an appearance too.

Track #11 'Monorail Timelapse' was created in Propellerheads ReBirth for iPad several years ago and has been remastered as a digital bonus track for this release.

All tracks performed live and recorded in one take.

Mastered in Steinberg Cubasis 2 in an iPad, with the help of Audio Damage AUv3 Plugins, an analog Klangbau Köln Vacuum Tube Amplifier, a Klangbau Köln Spring Reverb and authentic analog hiss from the TT-606."

Superbooth 20HE - Novations User Wavetable Editor For Peak and Summit

Published on Apr 24, 2020 sonicstate

"Novation's Chris Calcutt gives us a tour of the brand new Wavetable editor for Peak and Summit.
Its part of the Components software and allows creation and editing of user wavetables (up to 10 in memory) by drawing or loading your own samples.

Its a free download and requires a firmware update for the synth - Components can deal with that."

Erica Synths DB-01 Bassline Synth (with some Techno System)

Published on Apr 24, 2020 Perfect Circuit

"The Erica Synths DB-01 covers all of your bassline needs. It can do deep growling basses and squelching acid lines. The DB-01 uses a single oscillator with square, saw and triangle waveforms, but it has a unique bucket brigade based detune for producing moving two oscillator bass sounds. The filter is from Erica's Acidbox and is based on the Polivoks filter and has bandpass and lowpass modes. The DB-01 has an LFO, glide and distortion built in as well. The drums in this video come from the Erica Synths Techno System.

The DB-01 also has a powerful 64 step sequencer with an extra track for filter cutoff. There is also an arpeggiator and random pattern generator in the DB-01. There are lots of connection options with CV and gate inputs and outputs as well as midi.
