Using a EWI USB breath controller on the Elektron Digitone

"Using a breath controller on a synthesizer can unlock a whole new world of sounds. Here's how to set up the Elektron #digitone, a 4 operator FM #synthesizer, to work with a AKAI #EWI breath controller. Table of contents below. The demo in the beginning is one take, no external effects, Digitone only. Track 1 is reserved for the EWI, the other 3 tracks use parameter locking and program switching.

"A rare British modular made in Newcastle UK by Geoff Waterstone in the late 1990s early2000s.

There is not much information about these on line as it is rumoured that only 6 were ever delivered.

I thought during lockdown I would make a drone a day just to show anyone interested in what the Orgon sounds like
These are self-generating patches not really intended as music, demonstrating some of the tones available from the organ systems modular. an attempt to make patches that change over time using its 4 lfo’s as the only modulation/sequencing source with no external control.

It is a very simple system made up of
Three oscillators
Three filters
Three envelopes
Four lfo's
Two vca's
And a passive multiple
i will be posting one of these drones every day for the next few weeks.
