Sean Tyas has been at the forefront of the trance genre and electronic music spectrum for decades. A name synonymous with sound perfection his production and remix credits has seen him work alongside names such as Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond and Dash Berlin.
During his own production process Sean is not one to settle on presets alone, as an avid and passionate Sound designer a synthesisers flexibility and capabilities are key for its success.
In this session Sean will harness the power and features of Novation peak to build and construct a complex and production ready patch from scratch.

The Symple Sidecar adds GATE per STEP, CLOCK OUT, RESET and HOLD CV IN capabilities to the SympleSEQ.

"Expand the capabilities of your Hexinverter.net SympleSEQ sequencer by adding the Symple Sidecar companion module.

The Symple Sidecar connects to the SympleSEQ behind the panels via 2 patch cables (included). Once connected each sequence step outputs its GATE signal to an individual GATE output jack.

A CLOCK output is available to send either the SympleSEQ’s internal clock or to pass-through an external clock which may be controlling the sequencer.

HOLD and RESET control voltage inputs allow further sequencer control.

The Symple Sidecar is compatible with any Hexinverter.net SympleSEQ sequencers containing expansion ports on the PCB. All SympleSEQ modules produced by Lower West Side Studio contain these ports. If you are not sure if your sequencer has these ports or would like them added then please Contact Us."

This jam was one of the results from a recent jam session with my good buddy Daaf. We had a blast with all the synths fired up and ready to go and made three new pieces of work 💪

I used the mod wheel from the Sub Phatty to modulate Omnisphere + some other pad layers. After that, in comes the bass from the Sub Phatty itself and I quickly switched over to the Prophet Rev 2 to lay down the lead. Let me know what you think of this one! 🤗"

"This is a demo of the PM Foundations Chorus Eurorack module. You can get it here:

The phase differences are continually changing using six internal trapezoid oscillators. This effect replicates six VCOs tuned closely together to generate a rich, dynamic super saw wave. This module is a tribute to David Ward-Hunt who designed a waveform multiplier unit that was subsequently included in the Digisound-80 synthesizer"
