1. USE OF HAIR DRYER IS HELPFUL FOR REMOVING OLD PANEL - SOFTENS GLUE

2. DON'T PULL TOO HARD OR TRY TO STRETCH THE PANEL

3. WHEN CUTTING BACKING AND CAREFULLY FOLDING PANEL, TRY NOT FOLD TOO HARD AS ON VIDEO, BUT ALSO NOT TO GLUE A RIGID LINE WHERE 2ND HALF OF GLUE IS TO BE PEELED, LEAVE A GAP TO TACK DOWN, OR ELSE CREASE CAN OCCUR.

4. THE WASHERS SUPPLIED ARE 0.8MM HIGH ( IF NEEDED ) , SOME CUSTOMERS SAY POSS HALF THIS, IT'S GOING TO DEPEND ON YOUR SYNTH."

Oh yes, she finally arrived. the Prophet 5 landed 17th December 2020 and it's serial number 658.

@ 5.20 the Sounds start but you'll miss consumer opinion and a kid at Christmas ! - Thank you Music Matter & Dave Smith / Sequential.

This is just a quick unbox, and live tweaking of parameters, showing off the filter type differences and the vintage knob.More to follow soon. This video is somewhat experimental and intended as an alternative listen showing off the frequency / harmonics that can be found with noodling about. It is not drenched in FX. The 2nd part of the video failed on the camera, so an unedited chunk at end shows a few preset sounds, but they sound epic...watch this space for other videos soon.

What do you think to the filter differences, pretty subtle in places, huge in others ?

2. 39 Tracks of only 1 Prophet 5 Rev 4_RAW tracks un mixed_Part 1 of 3

"Programmed 34 User patches and borrowed 5 factory patches to make this Disco Techno fusion. Experimental fun really, but made a mini series..

Part 1 is this Raw recorded audio multitrack. Tracked on Studer 189 MK II using just the mic pre / eq, no compression.

Part 2 is the mixing video / tutorial on the final mix.

Part 3 is the Mastering and release, why not ?

All comments welcome.. thought it's a bit different to other videos, hope you get the vibe..

Totally different music genres to follow, Hip hop / Lo Fi, Funk, pop etc...."
