A has fewer notes and articulations, it's good to start with it, while B is a much more energetic and expressive variant of A. This organization gives an opportunity to develop your bass line form "soft" to "expressive" (or vice versa) just in one click. And, of course, you may do any changes in sequences while performing or jamming.
