I am away from my modular system for another week, so I am trying to use some great software devices to make the content as a temporary solution. Made this patch as extensive as possible, but it was very close to crashing my computer just due to the sheer amount of connections and effects that I had running. LYRA 8 - Early Explorations (with RE-101 Space Echo)

"Lately I have been experimenting with the really beautiful but unusual 'organismic synthesizer', the Lyra-8. It's the kind of machine that feels like you can coax it to life... if you just spend enough time on it. Here is a full recording of one of my first sessions exploring its sounds, with a touch of the Roland RE-101 Space Echo for good measure. The video is fairly unpolished, to give you an idea of what it's like to sit and play with the thing for real.

I have to say a big thank you to Signal Sounds in Glasgow for very kindly letting me borrow one of their demo units to try out for myself. "Incredible combo of Peter Blasser's Lil Sidrassi and Rollz circuits. Made and purchased from seller Pickle's Gear Garage here on Reverb. Check out his shop! He does great work. Here's the original description:
Patchable, squishable noise maker From the basement emerges a prickly friend to drone, squeal, sing, and sputter along with. The box is built on #ciatlonbarde’s Lil Sidrassi and Rollz paper circuits, with a set of switched capacitors that can take you from ultrasonic and sub-bass frequencies with the flick of a switch. Below the switches are the Rollz, rhythmic drivers that send electric impulses to the Lil Sid. When connected to the Rollz, the Sid’s five oscillators can respond regularly - giving you techno textures - or chaotic - producing ultrasonic guinea pig battle cries.

9V Center Negative, includes a banana ground for connecting with other noisy friends.
Note: The only patch points that can be connected (after grounding) to other similar gear are the red ones, otherwise you may damage your gear!! Negative voltages are no joke!

This thing is wild and super fun to use! I'm throwing in some small banana cables since I won't have much use for them after this and the Fourses sell. Consider it a gift from one weirdo musician to another :)"
