Functions and layout are modelled after the legendary 1980s Jellinghaus controller. Please refer to the manufacturer's manual and site for any questions about what this does and which synths it will work with. The latest firmware can be downloaded there too.
This unit is as new and has been unpacked for taking the photos only. There appears to be a light scratch on the main display (or on the protective foil, if there is any). Otherwise this is 'open box' mint.

"Here's how to use the Gain Switch Multi module with the Transistor Ladder Filter, Discrete Cascaded VCA, and Gemini 2412 VCF. With the Ladder Filter and VCA it allows convenient access to the gain jumpers on the back of the module, so that you can simply turn on and off the increased gain level feature, and add musical overdrive to your sound - this simulates the old Minimoog trick of connecting the headphone out put to the audio input to add some desirable distortion to leads etc. With the Gemini, the module will connect to it's two jumpers which determine the resonance available on each of it's two filters - the normal SEM-style level of resonance, or a much higher level, allowing either or both of the filters to self-oscillate.
Also there's a passive 6-way multiple to further make use of it's tiny 2hp Eurorack footprint.

I've been attempting to make a lot more use of it lately, and try explore some of the areas that I haven't made much use of - or at least combine different features in different ways, because I am still undecided on whether I love it enough to justify the price tag or not. There's no doubt that it's great fun to use, but is it worth the big ticket value? Erh, I mean, probably not - but when will I get over that?! Maybe never. Probably. It's a curse."
"Sound pack of 50 patches with sequences for the excellent Dave Smith Instruments / Sequential OB-6 analog synthesizer. All of these patches use VCO 2 as an audio rate modulation source via the X-Mod section. I decided to make an all FM pack for the OB-6 after doing a set for the prophet-6. It was definitely more challenging at first, but it led me to approaching sounds in some new ways, which produced some amazing results.
Sounds load into slots 400-449 as default. Everything heard here is totally dry, with no effects, EQ or compression. Just playing straight off the synth's front panel.
